Romo gets a mention from Jim Rome.

Rome was going on about Bob Griffin today, how despite Rome being a scoreboard guy, he had to pimp Bob. He said Umenyiora pimped him, called him best QB they faced this year, called him Sir Robert Griffin etc.

Rome said, how does that taste Squire Romo.

Poor Tony, always ripped even when there is no reason to rip on him.

Well, Tony can carry his team to victory on Sunday and they can rip alll they want!

I do often wonder if you are related to C&LFan.

But I agree with the premise of your statement.

Keep in mind...It IS Jim Rome saying it. A dude that got pimp slapped on his own show. The dude is the definition of a turd.

Is this the same Jim Rome that lost his shows in ESPN? Didn't even know he was still around.

The same Jim Rome that went off on the hotel he was staying in because HE poured coffee over his pancakes. His schtick was old ten yrs ago.

I always wondered if WBP was part of the Women's Professional Bowling Tour.

A also agree with the statement. Tony can't buy a break.

Jim Rome's shtick is beyond tired at this point. I haven't listened to him in years but it sounds like the same stuff from him. I did hear that he's lost some of his audience, loyal callers and a couple of producers so that can't be good. Who cares what Rome says, guy doesn't anything about sports anyway. Just stick to getting beat up by Jim Everett and having the stupid goatee.

Even weirder when Tony beat the Giants (in their house) this year, a feat the young Bob Griffin has yet to accomplish.

THIS. Nothing else matters, earn the respect of everyone by winning football games and hopefully playing until late January, that´s the only way Tony is ever going to get respect he deserves.

Both Cam and RG3 will always get more love from Osi and most Giants' D players...for obvious and maybe some not so obvious reasons. Vick is also given almost god-like credit from many defenders...more than coaches, media, or fans. There is a correlation.

For now, RG3 deserves the credit he's getting...imo.
Just saying, even if he did not deserve it, the commment was not surprising.

A blow hard being cited by a blow hard. Real recipe for quality analysis right there.

It isn't just him, Dan Patrick had Dungy on discussing the MNF game and he asked without prompting, who do you take Jay Cutler or Tony Romo. Dungy said Cutler.

Not sure what Romo has to do with tonight's game but so be it.

As an aside, this Griffin hype is getting way out of hand. Watch and see if you're not sitting here three years from now talking about how he's never developed his game from his rookie year.

Mike Vick. Cam Newton. Robert Griffin III.

Same player.

Does Bob wear a visor too?

Ummmm....to be fair has Romo developed his game all that much?? He still has a propensity to make dumb decisions at critical times.
