Even NFL Films won't sugarcoat the Cowboys' 2008 season

Can you believe that Super Bowl programming began at 11 a.m. this morning on NBC 5 here in Dallas. Sheesh. At least they didn't interrupt my regularly-scheduled time with Meet The Press. Anyway, I waited and waited and waited to see what kind of Cowboys highlights ol' Steve Sabol would show us on a show called Road to the Super Bowl.
And I waited and waited and waited some more.
Through the first 36 minutes, all we got was Tony Romo being hammered in Cleveland, Romo throwing a touchdown pass to T.O. in Pittsburgh and the blocked punt in Arizona. At least they didn't pull out any Hard Knocks footage.
Finally at the 36th minute, we saw a picture of Wade Phillips and a voiceover that said, "When you assemble a galaxy of stars, there's bound to be some combustion." Uh-oh.
In a span of five seconds, we had references to Adam Jones' suspension, locker room distractions and secret meetings among offensive players. Oh, they showed some highlights from the Eagles game on Monday Night Football. Seconds later, they showed the Cowboys getting hammered at the Meadowlands, arguably the second-most embarrassing loss this season behind 44-6 at The Linc. Oh, and they did show that disaster when they were pumping up the Eagles' season.
Where there plenty of good moments this season and NFL Films simply forgot?
