You're probably referring to me in the abstract. And I wouldn't necessarily agree, no.
Remember though, I don't consider Garrett's tenure to be teetering on the edge like most of you do, and I never have.
There are circumstances where I could see a loss to the Giants spinning the season out from under Garrett and that precipitating his firing. It'd have to be something pretty unique, though.
It's academic, because I don't think we'll lose this game unless we turn the ball over multiple times more than they do, and we're pretty good at not doing that when we've got our protection in place.
Collectively, you guys have way too big an axe to grind over a coach that wins a fair number of games and has put some pretty good teams on the field in recent years. He's really not in the hot water you all want him to be in. Deep down, you know that I'm right, and I think that contributes to a lot of the frustration, too. You're stuck with a dude you hate because he wins enough games and his bosses really like him, so you look for extreme things to happen to justify a coaching change.
Good luck with it. I happen to like limits on my chaos. Just fix the defense for me finally, and let's see how the rest of the team we've got right now can perform.
