Even though 3-1 would be nice, 2-2 doesn't look too bad

since today's game looked like a sure loss and being down 21-0 to the Rams and not having faith that the Eagles would lose to the skins. But they hung in there and was able to stay poised and make the comeback. We remain a game behind the eagles for the division and I wanted to believe we will be tied at 3-1 next week because the eagles travel to san fran but I had no idea we play the saints on sunday night football


So it's possible we go into the month of October like this

Eagles-3-1
Cowboys-2-2

Hope I am wrong but I can deal with 2-2 after 4 games especially when one of them involved a 21-0 comeback

Don't understand this statement…especially after a game like today.

As I've said before, for the last 15 years, this team has continually proven that no game is a "winnable game."

And, let's not forget that the Saints usually own us.

Dallas has match-up problems with NO, or least they have in the past. I agree that we can win but they can not come out and get down by 3 TD's again against them. They have to play well from start to finish........not sure they can do that yet.

That New Orleans game looks like a buzz saw unfortunately. It's too many elements at play for us to think we are sneaking out of Sunday 3-1.

This is a season where we are going to have to take a few punches on the chin. We can only hope they keep surviving these early challenges on because there is a chance to make a run down the stretch.

But games like next week? Meh… How we going to stop Jimmy Graham if we have been exposed by Vernon Davis, Delanie Walker and Jared Cook? That is a pattern my friend.

Nothing to be ashamed about though, because 2-2 is putting us in a position to pass the first quarter of the season not in a hole. That's really all I wanted out the gates.

The big picture includes an entire season. So far Garrett adds up to 8 - 8 every year. It is not September that I worry about rather our issues in December that scare me and for that matter I would like to be playing in January. I will gladly eat crow if Garrett gets us over the hump but to this day I have not seen anything to make me think he will.
