In an interview by Jason Witten, following getting cleaned up from the game, Jason was asked a series of questions as to why things went wrong and if he would continue to be a Cowboy. That is some serious questions to thrust into a player's face immediately following a tough loss.

That is some serious stuff, and what we as fans should not attempt to make light of which.

The first things out of his mouth was that he did everything in his heart for the benefit of this group of players...and not for the money. He committed early on, to sacrifice all for those players that had come together with a unified sacrifice for those who were on the team. The team was unified and took on challenge as a team.

Jason stated, that as a man, and playing a game, he had elevated feelings and emotions right now. That was due to the level of commitment that he carries and feelings he has in this group of players, now.

He stated that as such, he needed some time to sort for himself, just what his thoughts are concerning his immediate future.

For anyone not rushing to a stereo type or single cause explanation, that is wisdom for us as fans as well...

In a Division Level of the playoffs, this Cowboys team lost by a total of 3 points in the last 3 seconds of a game. A tough loss no matter the ledger being selected to sort through and analyze with. The thing is that emotions should be allowed to bottom out somewhat, and then start the sorting and directed evaluations that will inevitably occur.

But, this will be the process for both the team and for it's players. It, with wisdom, should be the path followed by every one of us fans as well.

Try to refrain from quick and cheap shots at other fans, with labels that have been tossed around for the past 20 plus years.

This team left a strong mark on the field, even in a loss...and not a black facial type upon any fan.

No game this season, but against Philadelphia, was lost by more than 3 points. That is against the very best that the NFL had to offer.

Two rookies set all sorts of individual records and standards for the team. Zeke Elliott and Dak Prescott are for real and played well through the entire season, as well as against all opponents.

The team will set about tending to physical injuries, process film, and set the locker room for the future integration of a team that came committed and sacrificed as a team.

The team will then set about evaluation all systems, coaches, and integration of players to sustain a viable cap, current strengths and standards, and which players most strongly project to developing the team environment established and strongly growing.

This is our part as fans for now. Enjoy this season. It was a good one. Next, give the team our support for providing us with some damn good football for an entire season. But don't spend futile efforts to claim divine insights...and give the team some time to adjust. It will. Only a foolish person would set about blaming Jerry Jones, or Jason Garrett, or even a single player for the loss that happened yesterday.

At this point, that is just childish. Live with what it is, without expanding that into something negative as well as insultive.

Give a little back to our Cowboys and also to those fans who chose to share this experience with YOU.

Thank you Cowboys. And thanks for our true fans as well!!

Thank you offense. No possible way I can thank anyone on the defense except Sean Lee. But offense, coaching, everyone. Thank you.

....Also, **** you, defense. One last time.
