I know it is just one game, but he showed up big time. Forced an interception, got a sack-strip, and buried Ponder on Selvie's strip for Hayden's TD. And that was no slouch of an OT he was playing against.

And Selvie.... what can you say? from a nobody to very good DE.

Kyle Wilber is just too small to do what Brown did today. If Wilber is going to stay on this roster, he needs to excel at special teams because I don't see him getting any meaningful snaps when Ware returns.

Everett Brown was a nice surprise, and take my word for it there were not many in this game today.

Does this make ware expendable now? If brown turns out to produce like selvie has, I think so. And then we could also draft dline too. Letting ware go could save us around 10 mil against the cap next season. I don't want to let him go, but if we have to do it, I think we'd be fine if brown turns out to be a selvie clone.

Totally hypothetical. Just food for thought.

we need ware for one more season. if we can afford to keep on team you do it. players like him are hard to find. ware just needs to get healthy and then use him on third down passing and use him more wisely to keep him fresher during games.

Seeing how thin the depth has been? We should not be looking to unload talent- we need to be collecting more.

I completely agree. I have been less than impressed with Wilber since starting for Ware. Going forward, I think Brown will be the one replacing Ware to give him breaks, and thats a good thing.

Wynn and Brown have showed more in a couple weeks than Wilber has in a couple years. Really like their relentlessness. Albeit a small sample size, I like their contributions.

I think they should pull a Seahawks with Irvin and move Wilber to strong side LB next year....or cut him one or the other.

What does this mean??? Which NFL player is playing for free??

means they are playing for a paycheck in the future, they are all on minimum contracts. they are trying to secure their future game by game.
