We have a long history of safeties who can't cover.

He'd be the perfect person to carry on that tradition.

I'm the biggest Taylor Mays fan around but I'm a Cowboys fan first. The only way I would want us to draft him is if:

1) We signed a veteran free agent Free Safety first (Nick Collins, OJ Atogwe)

and

2) He slipped to us in the bottom of the 1st round

and

3) He was brought in to play Strong Safety. I think he can be a similar player that Adrian Wilson (Arizona) is.

I would stay away from Mays the guy is lousy in coverage. People like Mays size and speed but I would have to question his intelligence when it comes to reading offense and defending the pass.

I like Griffin. Mays is not a guy I would spend a 1st or 2nd on. He doesn't do anything.
