So, it's pretty set in stone that Lamb, Gallup, and Tolbert will likely be the starters and 1-3 WRs.

That leaves the following players to compete for roster spots 4-6.. I kind of see us keeping 6 WRs. Which ones do you hope make the 53, and why?

James Washington

Noah Brown

Semi Fehoko

Jacquarri Roberson

Nice post!
Hopefully out of the bunch a couple will step up and help hold the fort until the Calvary (Gallup) arrives.

4-6 will be Washington, Brown and Fehoko.

Hard for me to see any other WR come out of training camp/preseason games ahead of them. They all look like PS guys.

Washington was easily the most exciting player from OK St since Dez Bryant. I never figured him out though bc his 40 time wasn’t like Deion Sanders or anything but he was ALWAYS running behind the defense. He’s either deceptively fast or great route runner or the OC had genius routes mix plays to get him deep.

I would like to see Vasher make some noise. Every time I watched a Texas Tech game he really stood out.

Some people are speculating that Gallup may return sooner than expected.

As in, we're saying, we expect Gallup to miss the first few games.. Then again, maybe not.
His availability is totally up in the air.
Way too early to know this far out.

I expect him to miss at least 6 to 8 games. It is what this team does. He will start TC on PUP, and probably the season, so the first 6 games easily.
If some say as you posted he may return earlier, will he then be on the 53 man roster, and miss maybe 2 or 3 games. That would be great, but the past history says otherwise.

Way too often they say 3 games, and it is 8 games. Gallimore was said to be out 3 weeks, putting him back for game 3 Since it happed almost 2 weeks before the season started. He didn't play until around week 12 or so I think it was.
DLaw was to miss 6 to 8 weeks, it was more like 11 weeks. Gallup and his calf injury, 3 weeks, it was more like 6 weeks.

I do not trust anything this team says when it comes to injuries. It goes back to Garrett and his stupid...day to day...crap. One of my pet peeves.

All I can do is speculate on what we see. Gallup is out of the trainers room and is on the sidelines doing cord work. I just don't think it will take more than 3 months of cord work before he can get on the field.

Good point.

4-6 I'd prefer it to be: Simi, Washington, vasher.

I believe Washington is favored to make the roster over the rest and we will lose either vasher or Simi for brown.

I think 1-5 are set (once Gallup returns)

CD
Gallup
Washington
Tolbert
Brown

We have all those players and 1 spot IMO. Semi, TJ and all the others. I would think Semi had the inside track being a draft pick but he has to show he can catch the ball I was surprised last year at the amount he dropped in TC And PS games.

I'm really liking Fryfogle the more I see and hear about him. I think he has a real chance to make the roster now that he has an NFL QB throwing him the ball.

He's shifty and would make a great slot receiver.

I see Tolbert is the new guy to grossly overrate before he does anything on the field. He’s already beat out Washington without even competing. Nice.
