While I have my doubts about this link staying up, the fact that it's called "public record" gives me some hope.

A few good things

1) This is with the 18M dollar penalty this year and bringing back the entire team except for Madieu Williams (who was terrible at FS) and Lorenzo Alexander at backup LB.

2) No "restructures" that push salary out into future years. Moss, Davis, Carriker, Hall all took real paycuts to stay. The Commanders didn't mortgage future salary cap dollars to squeeze into Mara's hell for this year.

3) Moves will still need to be made to a) bring in Antoine Winfield and b) sign draft picks

4) There should be plenty of room next year with many contracts coming off the books and lots of guys on 1 year deals.

Antoine Winfield is probably going to resign with Minnesota ala d.hall. Checking out his possibilities, and will most likely resign with Minnesota. Frazier just said he wants the team to bring him back.

Hate the Eagles have so much room.

How does a team go on a FA spending spree like they did to assemble the "Dream Team" a mere two years ago and be in that good shape with the cap?

Are the Cowboys just that bad at managing their cap?

Philly gives Big Name Free Agents Roster Bonuses along with small Signing Bonuses. Roster Bonuses do not get prorated over the life of the Contract. Philly also is cheap with their money and they have been carrying over money for over 10 years now. Philly was close to a Championship Team a few years ago under McNabb's Prime yet they would still not get the missing pieces that Reid needed to finally make it to the top of the Mountain. The Philly owner got burned by a few Free Agents (Javon Kearse, Kevin Curtis, etc.) and he would not spend money until the Dream Team Season. In the Dream Team Offseason. the FA Contract were structured where the Contracts were not backloaded either so they would not damage their Salary Cap Money Stash.

Jerry is not a "Save for a Rainy Day" type of Owner. Jerry believes that the "Future is NOW".

I still don't know how we are only $4,469,505.00 under if Romo saved $5m himself. I thought Durant and Allen signed before Romo's deal.

Its comforting seeing the Foreskins are still in the next to worst position cap wise. :bravo:

Only because of their last year's carry over are the under.

Eagles are way under.
I'll bet they hold on to most of the remaining and it goes into Lurie's pocket not the team.

Philadelphia Eagles
51
$23,046,035.00
$120,563,643.00
$25,747,026.00
