Guys no need to complain about JG coaching. The bottom line is each win means another year of the same bad coaching.

We are stuck with mediocrity for years to come.

I don't even record the Cowboys game anymore.

Garret is the worst oc and hc In the league glad the boys have him for 5 more years yes!!!

Call it mediocrity if you want, but look at the rest of the NFL first and tell me who you see that consistently dominates week in and week out.

So if mediocrity means playing with heart, then I'll take it. This team would have folded their tents against the Ravens, Giants, Falcons, and Browns, but is at least putting up a fight and trying to secure a win.

No matter what, you can't deny that this team at least fights and claws their way back into games, at least as of late. If that is a reflection of the coach, then you may want to think twice about sending him packing.

This team is an offensive line away from being a solid contender. If for some reason that ragtag bunch gets it together soon, then sending the coach packing might be a bit premature.

What is more secure than "secured"? Dude wasn't and isn't going anywhere.

I wonder if you were saying that a couple of years ago when he was a hot commodity?

You're right. There is no hope so why not put yourself out of our misery?

We won a game while replacing 3 of 5 of our OL guys.

I doubt that most teams are going to look great under those conditions. It is a win under far less than ideal conditions.

I don't mind Garrett but 2 things need to happen

he needs to be forced to let a OC call the plays
he needs to learn how to play situational football

I thought the ideas was to "earn" your spot. If his team keeps winning, wouldn't Garrett conceivably be earning his? Similarly, if his teams lose, wouldn't he earn his dismissal?

You forgot the part where we were without the leading rusher, leading tackler, and others.

Lot of injured players this season. Seems like we can't get out of the 1st quarter these days without losing a gameday starter and going to the bench for a backup's backup.

IF we invest heavily via FA and draft picks to beef up the trenches, Garrett will look like a genius next year.
