People say we have no offensive line but Romo throws for almost 5000 yards, go figure..

I'm tired of this choking every year, can we just get a new coach, QB, WR because Austin is through and a couple good OL in FA.

Like I said I'll rather go through hard times with a rookie QB with potential than a QB who put stats up every year and chokes. 5 years ago 3 QBs passed for 4000 years, this year about 15 past for 4000 and another 10 passed for 3500 or better, so I'm confident we can find a QB that can throw for 4000 yards in todays NFL.

Just venting, but we need change and change fast....

ENOUGH with the excuses for Romo, man. No cares that he almost threw for 5,000 yards ... he had a chance to win the game tonight for us and re-shape what people say about him ... and he choked in usual Romo fashion. What is so hard for people to understand about that?

Every year 31 teams make 'excuses'

Actually this year only 11 QBs passed for more than 4,000 yards. It is actually realy hard to do. That being said, included in the 4K group were 3 QBs who posted Qb ratings of 79, 76 and 81. So not only is it really hard to pass for more than 4,000 yards but there is a lot more to it.

I feel your need to vent and I agree that we need some changes but I don't think that it is at QB

I didn't say ANYTHING about excuses for Romo. The OP said people complain about the offensive line but Romo threw for 5000k. I was pointing out he didn't throw for 5000k because of that offensive line. He threw for it despite the offensive line. He failed today. Its that simple. Everyone wants to be quick to label everyone. "Oh this guy is ELITE....". "This guy is a choker". The guy went out there and didn't have a good game. Its that simple.
