By now we all probably know that we have three guys coming back to the D-Line DeMarcus Lawrence is eligible to return to play against Arizona, Amobi Okoye has started getting in work and could be back around the same time Josh Brent until a little later in the year. BUT adding these guys back has an obvious caveat, namely three players need to be cut to make room for these guys. So who's it gonna be?

DeMarcus Lawrence is this year's second round pick, of these three, he's probably the guy who has the least amount of question marks. Brent and Okoye have been out of football for a while though, so in choosing who to cut to make room for these guys there's a chance that those moves will backfire. The buzz from the locker room is good around these guys but it can't be denied that there are questions around at least a couple of these guys and what they can do when they come back.

These are our current D-Line men:

Tyrone Crawford, George Selvie, Jack Crawford

Nick Hayden, Terrell McClain, Ken Bishop

Henry Melton, Davon Coleman, Anthony Spencer

J. Crawford would have been my choice back in September but he looked pretty good against the Seahawks. Edwards is already gone so my money is on McClain. Sorry T.

Crawford, Hayden, or Edwards, or one of the rookies may go to the PS. It's also possible that one of Brent or Okoye may never be put on the 53. Also, there may be an injury. Either way, it's nice to know fresh reinforcements are coming.

For reasons you mentioned, I'm not certain that Brent and Okoye are locks to be added back to the team. But if I had to decide, for me Jack Crawford, Ken Bishop and Lavar Edwards would be the players that are out.

I think they have a bit of time with Okoye before they have to decide on whether or not to activate him, they decided to carry these guys this long though so I think at least they'll be given a chance. Of course given a chance doesn't mean play in a game I'd imagine they'd see plenty of practice reps before things got that far.
