Now I would sure love to have a Elite QB, but I dont want any mid round reaches. If and when we do draft a 1st rd QB I pray our scouts do some serious homework

Dunno...

If you are trying to say picking Quarterbacks in the 1st Round is no gurantee then I agree.

But...

If you are saying it doesn't start with the Quarterback, I totally disagree.

Dunno...

I am saying what I said in post 2. a 1st round QB is not a sure fire chance at success. If/when we do take one I hope our scouts dont let us down

Culpepper also lost his OC.

Take a peek at his games with out Moss last season.

7 TDs compared to 1 int.
71+ Completion percentage.
Over 250 yards per game passing.

also hope that our coaching staff develops him properly, and he gets it one day

I have done this before.

Before the Moss injury he was averaging (over 5 games)

353 yards per game
3.6 TDs per game
0.6 INTs per game
73% completion %

When Moss was injured (5 games)

236 yards per game
1.8 TDs per game
0.6 INTs per game
68% completions

After Moss came back

295 yards per game
2 TDs per game
0.8 INTs per game
68% completions

So as we see he had killer numbers before Moss got hurt, they dropped alot when he got hurt, and rose again when he came back

7 TDs over 3 games is more than 1.8

My numbers are correct. I didnt look at his yardage vs. with Moss. But his overall production is damn good.

Which adds up to ZERO super bowl rings. So much for "elite".

Carr is not a bust. The dude cannot not take a 3 step drop without getting sacked. Can we give him a good Oline without labeling him a bust?

your numbers are wrong if you count games Moss was hurt in week 7 and left, came back to try and play week 8 then left after a couple plays

He had 0 catches in neither game because he barely played

If Henson was bein brought along right we would not even have to worry about this. Henson has everything to be that ELITE QB. That will go down as my biggest prob with Parcells. I think he has totally screwed up things with Henson.

If BP knew he was gonna sit the man he shoulda gone to NFLE last year so he would be more along this year.

I will say it now...if Parcells has no other choice and has to play Henson for whatever reason.....Henson will not lose the job. He will learn fast and surprise alota people.

What just gets me is that Coughlin coulda stayed with Kurt Warner and they were not outta the playoffs yet. But he went with the future in ELI Manning. Eli looked worse then Henson or Romo at first. Now.....if you be real about it you can see Eli is on his way to being a very good QB in the NFL.

Maybe if Parcells woulda done something like that with Henson this year or next year he would be ready to really take off and be our QB of the future.

Parcells really screwed that up for us.

Henson and ROmo haven't even gotten on the field, yet everyone's calling them a bust

so no, we can't

Moss did not play in 3 consecutive weeks.

http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/12576/gamelogs/2004

These are the weeks I am talking about.

I know he did not play in 3 weeks, but as I said if you read my last post he was hurt early in the week 7 game and left the field 0 catches, He also tried to come back and played 2 plays week 8 then reinjured himself and left the game o catches.

So do you want to count games he played just a couple plays in as a game played?
