Don't need to go back to 93, just go back one year 2021, this team is more like that team than the 93 team, and how'd that work out?

And I want a long playoff run because as soon as the season is over, my wife has a long list of things waiting for me to do around the house!

You ever notice how inflexible they are? If I’m watching something on TV she doesn’t like, she complains or leaves the room in a huff. Meanwhile, I tolerate whatever crap she watches without comment, because that would start a war!

I have no idea why some people even watch sports on this board. They take it too seriously. We won a crazy game on the back of a highly unlikely 4 down stand inside the 5. Backed by a 98yd TD drive to win. And people still complain like we have 1 win all year. It's pathetic. Sports is entertainment. Yesterday was entertaining. This is the NFL, not college or high school. You aren't going to go out and trash teams 50-0 by halftime. It's the way the NFL works. We beat a 10 win Vikings team on the road 40-3. We get a 1 win team at home and have to win in the final minute. It's what makes the NFL what it is and no other sport can compare.

Go watch fishers fish at 6 this morning on YouTube. He sits a great example of the ebs and flows of the nfl season, and he uses the 93 cowboys as an example. He reminds us you don't win 50 to 0 and he absolutely shows you how the nfl season goes go watch it and please tell me where he is wrong. Our memories absolutely skew reality. The 93 cowboys were awesome, but they didn't go 19 and 0. Go listen...
Point well taken and agree….

But….the 93 Cowboys DID remarkably go 15-0 when Emmitt Smith started and finished the game.

He truly carried that team that year, especially when Troy missed a couple games in November and the newly signed Kosar had to fill in.

But yeah….beating the snot out of Houston yesterday wouldn’t have proven we would win it all, so why would a close game prove that we can’t?

Things change dramatically and quickly I. This league. We still have as good a shot as anyone.

Don't you see the leaks? Bad loss to the Packers, struggled with the Colts for 3 quarters until they blew they out in the 4th. Even the Giants game was a struggle. They are so inconsistent and I really believe they are one and done in the playoffs. You never know what you get with this team is it the team that smashed the Vikings or the team you saw yesterday. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they take it to the Eagles. In the playoffs you can't play like yesterday and expect to advance.
So can the chiefs play like yesterday and expect to win in the playoffs? Can the eagles play like they did against the colts or Washington and expect to win in the playoffs? I didn't think so

Nobody cares about that you be honest we just want to see THIS team be more consistent! Have all these so called good players, time for them to show up
Well then be miserable having STUPID unrealistic expectations. If the 93 cowboys could barely beat the cardinals, TWICE, what makes you think this team should beT everyone by 20?

We have 4 games to get it right and get as healthy as possible...then the real games start.

The ironic thing is the next 4 games likely won't mean anything in terms of seeding
Exactly. All we can do is just play ball and forget the Eagles and everything else. Lets see where we get seeded. I like it better than having a bye week. We never respond well after a bye in the playoffs. This may be a blessing in disguise. Best thing we can do is worry about US...our team and what we like to do. Forget the Eagles. Let them carry that target on their backs.

seems like a loss - team is starting to show leaks that will spell D-O-O-M very soon.

We’re definitely starting to see some cracks, especially on the defense. Parsons was a no-show again for the second time and the defense didn’t have a single sack the entire game, which is the first time that’s happened this season. We just lost Hankins for who knows how long which isn’t going to help our run defense. Steele was lost for the season. Dak has been up-and-down this season and has thrown 5 INTs in his last three games. Only four games left in the regular season and we’re starting to see some of the same red flags we saw last year at this time.

If we don't blow a team out, most of our "fans" will ALWAYS find a way to complain! Lol it's sad. I can only imagine this place if we had actually lost the game and was 9-4

The strength of opponent was the deciding factor in some here being disappointed with the teams effort. Especially the offense. Too much inconsistency remains and we need to see this stuff tightened up since we are in the final stretch of the regular season.

If this happened against the Vikings or Seahawks it would be understandable. I’m sure the Cowboys are happy with the win but happiness doesn’t win Championships

Exactly! Bingo! Entertainment! Too many perpetually miserable know-it-alls can’t simply enjoy the moment. I get the debates, the analyzing, the long Super Bowl drought, etc., but holy crap! Live in the moment!

It's not about blowing teams out. It's about having more control of a game against the worst team in football and not relying on the D to save the game by stopping a pick 6 and then 4 downs deep in the red zone late on in the 4th quarter. It can be laughed off and brushed aside as "winning ugly" but there's a taster here of future struggles when the team has a few injuries. With Parsons out of sorts for whatever reason the reliance is on the underrated yet physically fragile Lawrence to get it done on D as the QB requires chance after chance after chance to win a game like that.

Swagger thats what football is. The defense has to play hero some weeks. It 's called a team dude.

It's complimentary football bro!. It's not going to work out how WE think it should every time and it's not always going to be pretty like the Vikings game. No team has looked dominate in EVERY game is what I'm saying. We looked like hot garbage YES. But we also found a way to pull it out in the end which is what it's all about finishing strong. The Eagles did it against the Colts and everyone said that's what championship teams do find a way to win regardless so why should our win be any diff?

That's fine and I get it. But regardless of the records did anybody expect the Texans to lay down. No it was nationally televised they had nothing to lose, back against the wall and tried their best to pull put all stops. Played TWO QBS!! how often did they do that this year....lol yes we played like TRASH but found a way to win. Which is all that matters in the end. I've seen SB teams ay like crap but find ways to win in the end which is all that is remembered. Not trying to compare this to a SB winner but just saying. Had they lost I would be saying different. BUT, that's what Winning teams do when ish isn't going your way FIND A WAY TO WIN THE DANG GAME. That they did

I regenerate this team in the sb several years ago getting smoked by the Falcons, then they came back and won it all and so many said wow, now that's a team. I also remember an 18 and 0 pats team play consistent every game, until they didn't and most in the SB.

When the season is over in five weeks, I do not want to hear dak blaming the referees and saying he’s gonna do better next year. Blah blah blah it’s never happening with him or this team. They will prove once again they are for pretenders. Stephen A. Will laugh his *** off again.
