Everyone still on the play every starter bandwagon?

no and its not possible with injury and clist players already missing. be smart lets get to the playoffs..

I go out there to play to win, In doing so it puts pressure on other NFC teams to play starters or risk losing their seeding. Anyways in my view team needs the live game work.

Nope this is their bye week since they didn't get the one seed. Take a knee then go win 4 games

Don’t care. Not the same year and majority of those players are gone.
This. You can make a case for going with full starters or rest them. It's really up to the HC to know the chemistry of the team this time of the year and make the call.

Doesn't matter what "everyone" thinks. MM believes in playing the starters & that's final. Move on already.

Just checking.

If they're healthy then they should play.

Thinking this team can rest after last week, slide into the playoffs with a 2 game losing streak, then suddenly turn it on for the playoffs is a dream.

and these players cant string together 2 straight quarters of good football, they need to play

They could look amazing vs Washington and come out and be totally inept the next week against AZ.

Why you guys think this matters I do not know. I tell you what would matter, a calf strain, a injured shoulder, a twisted ankle.

I mean just baby them who cares, teams one and done anyway

Yeah.. If that’s your point of view then yeah just throw them out there and risk everything because we play in an NFL that’s easy to predict and we know who wins these games before they happen. Screw it.

It just doesn’t matter. Has nothing to do with being a winner or loser. It doesn’t matter.

If we play great and Dak gets hurt the season is over in a game that meant nothing.

17 games is too many games anyways.

Sure, that's the ticket . . . let's get ourselves into a non-competitive state of mind, just before entering into the playoffs. Players get hurt much more easily when they hold back than when they don't. Convincing your players that winning means nothing is the quickest way to ensure losing more than you might otherwise. That's the sort of thinking that encourages what we were last week vs. the Cardinals. This staff will hold out as many players as they'll deem necessary and count on the healthy ones to compete. Those that are battered and slightly injured will be protected. The Eagles will surely do much the same. Entering the playoffs on a high note means something, rather than nothing. There's 2 ways to see it -- that's mine.

It does not matter.

If having a week off was a disadvantage everyone wouldn’t be fighting to get the top seed.

Having a week off isn't an issue any longer. This Cowboys' team needs to assume a winner's outlook more than anything else.
They've already proven it last week and long before that.

Thinking that playing a Philly team in Philly with half your starters out isn’t a recipe for disaster is crazy.
Be competitive, and smart. Rest the folks who could use the rest. Play starters for a series or two.
