Everyone still on the play every starter bandwagon?

Having a week off isn't an issue any longer. This Cowboys' team needs to assume a winner's outlook more than anything else. They've already proven it last week and before.

Mmk.

I’ll take your guys word for it. This Philly game will be what propels us if we play good.

Thinking that playing a Philly team in Philly with half your starters out isn’t a recipe for disaster is crazy.
Be competitive, and smart. Rest the folks who could use the rest. Play starters for a series or two.

It’s a loser mentality though according to some. Gotta go be stupid because winners are stupid.

When you play great 1 week it means the next week you play great too.

Of course resting shouldn’t be done. They’ve only been playing a physical sport since July and they need this game to iron out things because we know it carries over if they do.

They are paid to play play them all if someone hurt that is too bad ... move on

Thanks for that -- I'm hoping we play well and enter the playoffs feeling like winners who don't lay down. If we lose, at least, we tried.

Bucs plan on having starters play and even GB are planning on starters playing this weekend.

I don't even understand why people would want key starters to play for a few drives or a half. There's really no point because they still have to go through their pre-game routine/warm-ups like normal so it would be a waste of time. So the starting offense goes 3 and out and then the next drive they dink and dunk their way to the 30 for a Zuerlein FG miss and then their day is over. Great job, totally worth it

You surely do have a strange way of "taking our guys' word for it!" Is it possible we're both stupid? It surely does sound like it, although, it also seems like we have our own opinions, which we're entitled to . . . imagine that. o_O

Nope.

I know there is 0 to gain from this game and everything to lose with a key injury.

But go ahead. Iron out something that may or may not carry over into the next game.

I see . . . so your opinion is the only one that counts, and nobody else's does. Arrogance duly noted.

Luckily the universe is saving us some from our stupidity but no I don’t think my opinion is an opinion. If we lose a key guy, especially Dak, it’s going to crush our chances.

I don’t worry about injuries since they can occur at any time. Just play and let the chips fall where they may. I’d rather the team be best prepared than come out rusty because we put them in bubble wrap for 2 weeks.

There are no guarantees that Dak will last beyond the 1st play of any game. If that happens vs. our 1st playoff team, your prediction is null and void.

i am.
i'd like to see this group get to 12 wins and clean sweep of the east.
i don't wanna end the season going 0-2.

Is it? Getting him to the playoff game is the goal right now I would think.

Him getting hurt in the playoffs just is just whatever. It’s the playoffs. It’s the most important game we will play until our next playoff game. This is it.

This game tomorrow night is a glorified preseason game.

To many others here, it means setting a mindset of winning, rather than losing. Convincing players to accept excuses for losing is what's wrong with this team and its players. There are thousands of excuses for being a loser. Convincing players to accept it so willingly is what haunts this team. The game tomorrow is another game that defines us as winners or losers. It's not a preseason game -- otherwise, it wouldn't be counted in the regular season. We'll play in the 1st playoff game in a better mindset if we win and a worse one if we lose. That means it matters.
