I think Gurode has a few years left in him, Im not so sure that playing next to Davis isnt making him look bad. Clearly we need to replace Holland, Davis and Colombo and Kosier is a FA and injured too often.

While they are changing them they need to make a change in philosophy and put more emphasis on athleticism and less on size.

like others have written. Gourode is doing ok. He is compensating for Davis.

You can't revamp 4 spots on the line in 1 year. however, you can get Mankins and start a younger guy on the line.

I have not been a houck fan. He likes big slow guys and we are a big play, passing, sweep team.

i endorse this thread.realistically we will probably have a new RT and hopefully we can replave Davis too.these guys are really holding back our offense.

I've no issues with this at all, we're fine in all the wow areas.

He's been getting a lot of help this year ...and we kept Witten/Bennett in most of the game yesterday to help him. I like Free's potential but I think people have been overrating him because we're so desperate as fans to see the team develop a homegrown OL prospect. I don't think he needs to be replaced at this point though.

We need to start evaluating Costa and Sam Young (is he still injured?). Hopefully we can start filtering them in by Week 8
