Maybe there will be a reduced price for trading up. I am not giving up on the Derwin James dream just yet.

Players I would trade up for.

Bradley Chubb
Quenton Nelson
Denzel Ward
Roquan Smith
Tremaine Edmunds.

One of these players will likely be at the point to where we could trade up at a cost of a 3rd. If teams wanting to trade back outnumber teams wanting to move up maybe it could be done with a 4th. Similar to how we traded back with S.F. for less than full value before drafting Fred.

Starting at about pick 14 it could get interesting.

Agreed. If it's truly a blue chip talent, I wouldn't love giving away a 3rd but I'd do it as well.

Just depends on the board. As far as trading back, as it is I'm thinking someone worth 19 is going to be there. There's usually like 14-15 1st round talents in a draft, a couple usually fall a bit because teams reaching. We're in a good spot to catch one, just take BPA.

I wouldn't downgrade to a lesser tier of talent just for like an extra 3rd. Not worth it.

We have the picks to trade up a handful of spots and replace the 3rd rounder it would cost.
