If the boys actually put a pasting on the Seahawks, does that put Seattle in a rebuilding mode at 0-3 and finally willing to part ways with Earl Thomas? Maybe a third would get it done at that point. Wouldya?

And the band played on....

Bigger issue is getting the Seahawks to take that 0-3 offer.

With the way the defense is playing I would only give up a 4th. We have also been without Xavier Woods. Get Woods healthy, inject the pass rush with Gregory and Irving and we do not need to spend premium draft capital on Thomas.

First, Dallas isn’t pasting anyone. Second, yes a Dallas win might make the trade more feasible. Seattle will want something for him at 0-3 and Dallas will like where they sit at 2-1. With the game being over and not having to face him, Seattle may be more willing and flexible. We’ll see.

Why?

Save for one Jeff Heath brain fart, safety play has been a positive for this team, despite the lack of depth and injuries.

The Cowboys defense is already playing great without Earl Thomas.

From what I see, the Cowboys issues are entirely on the offensive side of the ball right now.

Seattle would essentially have to come begging at this point and willing to give him away. Pride won't let them do that.

20 years from now

"Dont worry we can still get ET for a 5th, im willing to pay"

If the cowboys win. The Seahawks can suck it, rather than trade a 3rd for ET. That ship has sailed for them.

I wouldn’t do any more than a 4th at that point. Seattle is losing leverage in an ET trade by the day as far as I’m concerned.

trap game bro, dont get to excited I saw a Chicago team with great defense and mistake prone QB and Seatle trying their best to give the game to the other guys..you cant expect that to happen again, Seatle will be bringing in a soured upset attitude and will be desperate and that doesnt bode well for us..only good thing is despite our mistakes last year we played Seatle tough and should have won that Game Dez and Baily blew it but our D can be similar to Chicago's and we have better RG and a QB not quite Wilson but a clone anyway..it will be an ugly game for sure..
