The Tashard Choice fumble
The Alex Barron strangle
The strange penalties
The ball never bouncing/tipping our way
The sorry kick off coverage
The injury to Romo that took the gas out of everyone vs NYG

....I could go on and on

If you take away the things listed above our results would have looked like this:

at Washington WIN
vs Chicago WIN
at Houston WIN
vs Tennessee WIN
at Minnesota WIN
vs New York WIN
at Green Bay LOSS?
vs Jacksonville LOSS?
at New York ???

Either way as you can see leading up to traveling to New York this team would have been 6-2.

In a strange way I believe the most horrendous chain of events had to take place in order for the status quo to change.

Win, Lose, or Draw Garrett has begun to change the mentality of this team from a bunch of underachievers to professionals.

Whoa there; tap the breaks a little. I was thrilled w/ tonights victory. But it is only one game. Let's see how they do against the Lions.

One thing I have concluded is that Garrett brings about 10X more ENERGY to this team than Wade ever did. His hands-on approach also gives the team the impression that this job is important; this game is important. I've been thinking about the comments that Wade was off working out or chatting up guys instead of actively participating in the practices. I don't care what business you are in, if the boss doesn't show any interest, a lot of the employees won't take things seriously either.

I think Pasqualoni (sp??) presents a better "image" than Wade as the DC. I think he may also be more involved and have more energy than Wade. Wade just looks old, fat and tired. I like him and wanted him to succeed, but the team really didn't do much to keep him around.

I hope this high energy continues, and I'm glad beyong words that there are no more cards and dominoes being played in the locker room. And Dez Bryant has benn one of Jerry all time best moves. I just hope they can keep it up, if not for this year, then as something to build on next year...
