Ex Cowboy DBs

I don't think we'll miss any of those guys with the exception of Barry Church. But i'm good with not paying a 29 year old average safety.

I think the NFL put in an injunction request to stop any of them from playing well....they are simply citing "well, they used to be Cowboys...."

I came in here expecting something about Everson Walls, Benny Barnes, Dion Sanders, Meh.....

Carr had a pick in his first game with the Ravens. (off tipped pass)

Wilcox knocked himself out near the goal line against the Browns with a wreck less hit. I believe he is in the protocol.

Church started in week 1 for Jax.

Claiborne played against Buffalo and is on the injury report (go figure) for week 2.
Didn't the Jaguars have like 10 sacks last week, I wonder if Church was part of that.

Actually, his last year here specifically, he was pretty physical.

His body just doesn't appear durable enough for the NFL.
Mo for like the 1st half of last season was lights out and then of course injury. I was for resigning him as I thought that he may have turned the corner...Guess not.

has anybody kept up with Claiborne, Church, Wilcox, and Car?
Are They starting playing well, injured etc.
Are we starting to rue the day ?

Carr had a pick in his first game for Baltimore

JJ literally knocked himself out when he tried to take the head off of Corey Coleman

Methuselah aka Terrance Newman was in the game against NO the other night. Think he's now 39 years old
Fun stuff, I remember when we drafted him all the talk was how he would be a 25yr old rookie...He has done well for himself, just never gets that head around when the ball is in the air.

Despite Mitchell having a bad game against the Patriots (This tends to happen), he's actually turned himself into a starting CB. From what I read, he was coming along nicely last season. We'll see what happens.

Carr is Carr, will play average to good but rarely ever great. I am not surprised by Wilcox getting a concussion, he went all in to knock the ball out from Coleman, and he paid the price. Didn't get to watch Claiborne.

That's insane. He had 1 int in 3 years with us.

Off of the top of my head I recall Carr intercepting Eli for a pick 6 to win a game a few years back...he also intercepted Big Ben in OT to beat the Steelers...and he also had a pivotal INT against the Bengals one time which ultimately led to a W.

I don't think he was as bad as you thought.

We'll have to agree to disagree I think. In order to play Maranelli's Cover 2 the way it was meant to, you have to have CBs that are willing tacklers and support the run. That was never Mo.

I remember he had several INTs in his first preseason with us. Everyone was super excited. Then once the regular season came, not so much.

He did have a great pick against Big Ben that won the game for us a few years back though.
I remember he looked really really good the first few weeks of his first year here, the Brandon Marshall beat him like a drum
