Why weren't there any offensive signals on the first set of tapes Goodell recieved, when Spygate broke. All that was on those tapes were defensive signals.

That asterisk is just an angry response from disgruntled fans. If anything, this last season was our most legitimate because we had everyone watching us. Besides, I'd rather have a little asterisk than Jessica Simpson.

Yeah, the ones that Goodell destroyed were reported to have only defensive signals. And at least one of the tapes that Walsh has turned over, finally, supposedly has offensive and defensive signals.
