For failing to report the rape of a child to police he wants $4 million. Insanity. The dumb SOB should be in jail.

Former Penn State football assistant Mike McQueary on Tuesday filed a whistleblower lawsuit seeking $4 million from the university, claiming he was made a "scapegoat" for the university's failures to rein in a coach accused of sexual assault.

McQueary is the staffer who said he witnessed assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky having sex with a boy in the locker room in 2001, and reported what he saw to head football coach Joe Paterno and other university officials. Other boys were assaulted on campus before Sandusky, 68, was found guilty in 2012 of 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

The parents should file suit against him for not reporting it to the police when the school clearly did not report it to the police.

I'm sorry, but If I was at Penn State (even just a student), I'd find that guy and beat his ***. How he walked in on that, and DID NOT do anything is beyond disgusting. I have ZERO SYMPATHY for sexual predators/child molestors, and I feel like they should be treated in society just like they're treated in prison.

McQueary is a worthless POS. This garbage cared more about his career than doing more than what he claimed to do while a young kid was getting sodomized.

1. He should have physically remove the child from the Sandusky
2. He should have notified boy's parents
3. He should have notified police
4. He should have taken the boy to a hospital

This POS did none of the above, according to his statements in Grand Jury Report.

Can you imagine if you walked in on that? At the VERY LEAST, I would have knocked Sandusky out and called the police. That outcome would have actually been a divine intervention. Dude would probably be on the brink of death..my stomach is turning right now just thinking about it. SICKENING.

This little punk should be going to jail with the rest of them.

Literally at the same time this was all coming out, I was a grad assistant, albeit not for the football program. I've thought about it, and I just can't think of a situation where it's appropriate to see something like that, and only tell the football coach. The kid had to be 22-23 years old and he showed just as bad a judgement as any of them.

That is putting too much of an onus on him. Not up to him to take the child to a hospital.

It's the right thing to do unless police tells him not to.

Not his job, that is the parents' job. The most you can place on him is to stop what is happening short of getting himself hurt in the process, and call the fuzz.

So you would not seek out medical help for a raped child? Maybe I am just misreading your intent?

Immediately call 911 is what he should have done. That would have got the police and medics in route.

Nobody said it was his job, it is right thing to do however, there is difference, unless police or 911 operator tells him not to.

Makes sense to me. Walking away after witnessing a child being raped pisses me off to no end, and now he is looking to get rich. We are all part of a social contract we argeed to long ago. Raping kids is off limits and will be delt with harshly. Those that enable raping of children should be delt with in the same manner.

Now I have to head back to the other thread to pick on fat people.

Although your heart is in the right place you can't do that. First of all you can't authorize care for him. Second are you going to forcefully take him to the hospital. You'd be opening yourself up for charges yourself.

Calling 911 would have been ok. I would have stopped the abuse by gently removing him from the situation and called the police.

I would have first called 911, then kicked the crap out of him. When the police arrived, they would be arresting both of us.

I should have qualify it with "If needed"...Like I said unless police directs not to, he should to be seen by a physician, no one knows what disease Sandusky is carrying...they could always get parents' authorization.

When it comes to a child being molested, the right thing to do IS your job.

Are you saying that if you saw that the boy was hurt, you'd be more worried about what potential legal action would be falsely brought against you rather than getting the boy to a doctor, asap?
