(Yes it's been beaten and talked about for so long sheesh there I said it)

With that said, how bad was our culture for it to be talked about so much in being changed? Were there guys not getting along, did Mike never spend much time trying to get to know his players better and build relationships?

Being that our head coach was here last season and was apart of the staff, gave him a clear view of what to see and change. Is there more to this, what about the culture that comes with the front office speaking before the coach speaks?? How about changing that culture?? Please give your thoughts

Nothing's changed. Just another yes man.

Gotta let all the excitement of the first impression change and surrounding fluff story articles die down first.

But then it may not take long. All depending on the starting QB's iffy health to see how far a .500 ish type team can be led by a not so qualified 1st time coach with an even more iffy backup QB room.

The drama is gonna ping the entertainment scales this year that's for sure. Should be fun.
Cowboys!

Big Mike

It happened in Green Bay….

Not sure the team had a culture under MM. Just a dude happy to have a job. At least Schotty is going to "TRY" probably. Might not work out but I prefer that over retreads like Wade or MM.
Yup, about where I'm at. Hated both hires but also was not impressed with McCarthy's initial staff. I think Quinn saved his job for a bit.

Schott I have liked his staff hires so far so time to see how it plays out. Going to just look at it optimistically until proven otherwise.

The coddling and pampering starts with Jerry and nothing Shotty says or does is going to change the culture that Jerry created. The only way the current culture ends or can begin to change has to come from Jerry becoming worm dirt.

Post Parcells, it got pretty bad til last year. We win games despite it, but in the post season those culture issues rise to the top. Now what about now? We will soon see.

Based on the player surveys I don't think the culture was "toxic" by any stretch. Players appreciated just being there and felt cared for by McCarthy. But I think where the problem was, was around accountability and putting in the work to take the next step. Great organizations push each other to be better and that's not always for everyone.

It was bad, don't believe MM was great with connecting with these new type of college players.... didn't help that he basically built a retirement home for senior NFL coaches to pick their brain only to get out coach every time he was on the sidelines....

Not as bad as fans make it out to be.
Another urban myth that has grown and made up for fans to hate on.

It came from a few players that were and still are coddled by Jerry and Stephen. Or seem to be coddled or spoiled with stupid contracts. Fans get fed up with it for good reasons. So they come up with a culture reasoning. When in reality
