Another 100+ yard rushing game for Marion and Julius chipped in 64 yards, plus led the team in receiving w/ 75 yards...over 130 total yards from scrimmage.

Kudos to both and the OL!!!

We had 174 rushing yards today, most this season. JJ was running very well first half and MBIII was carving up the Jets defense in second half. Both runners were running very well.

I was thinking before the game that the game plan will included a lot the rb's, as we need to keep our defense fresh for the short week.

We need to start running more and control the game clock. We were ranking No 7 in all NFL and 2nd on NFC on Time of possession. Today we ran the clock better, and kill their defense.

I like that

We don't have a short week. Our next game is 7 days away just like it would be if we were playing on Sunday.

I remember when our running game sucked and I wished we would pass on first down. Funny how things have changed.

I want to see, just once, just to see what happens, if we just feed Julius the rock.

I just want to see what this offense looks like if we give him 20-25 carries, hell maybe even up it to 30.

His great games always came when he got the ball consistently, got himself into a rhythm and started feeling the defense. I just want to see Garrett try it.

I think right now Julius is that beast of old waiting to burst out. He's that breed of back that gets better the more carries he gets. Emmitt was like that, Eddie George was one when he was in his prime, a bunch of others. Julius is the same way.

this was by far the best running attack that I can remember us having this year

You're correct. I must have read one of the nfl.com stats when it (or I) was wrong.

Sorry 'bout that.:eek::

I understand your want to see JuJo have a big game and it does seem that he needs a large amount of carries to get hot and in a rhythm. I, like you, have a feeling that he can be a game breaking back given the chance ... the problem is that the cowboys have another very talented RB they can't very well ignore.

I'll tell you that it was great to see this running game finally put up some yards since the bye week. I hope that continues much more than getting or deciding on who the featured back is.

And, not that it's on topic, I wish Romo would have led Witten properly on the play that should have been their second hookup for a TD. I don't understand why he under-throws receivers sometimes when he obviously has the arm strength. *sigh*

Also the most conservative (by far) offensive game plan this year. An effort to reestablish our running game was full display. I think Wade wanted to prove we could still run the ball.

This is precisely the reason (aside from grabbing Larry Fitzgerald), that I think we need to focus more on the defensive side of the ball this coming off-season.

Our offense is a lot of fun to watch. All wheels are rolling along fine.

Our defense is a little scary to watch at times, especially against the pass.

Well, not matter what I think the Cowboys should let Ware and/or Ellis come on EVERY down and scare the "$4!+" out of Farve. Knock him on his arse a few times and they'll go max protect and stop that spread nonsense.
