Anyone else excited about this Sunday?

I mean, we really don't have anything to lose since it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that the Broncos will trounce us and 2-3 is on the Horizon.

But we have everything to gain. A win would be incredible. A closely contested game would only boost our spirits as well (provided we don't lose because we fumble a game winning extra point).

It's sad that it's come to this for me as a Cowboys fan, but there is no real embarrassment at stake for the Cowboys, and that's exciting.

I have no anxiety or worry heading into this game, because any good that happens is just gravy.

Anyone else in the same gravy boat?

I'm excited. I'm excited to see how this team responds at home to the best team in football. It may not be how we like. But just like every other week i'm excited. If I wasn't excited that would be a first for me.

Boy, I am. I don't share the 'nothin' to lose' feeling, though. Every win in the NFL is tough, even if you're the Broncos. I think we have a legitimate shot to give them their first loss of the season. If not that, this game is a great barometer of where we need to be this season. I just like watching the team play.

I am bummed, though, that we're already at week 5. Man, the seasons go by fast.

I'm excited about every game. No doubt this is a big test for Dallas so yeah the anticipation will be a lot greater.

After watching what the Charger's offense did to us, I am no where near excited to see what the Broncos are going to do to us.

I have no confidence that this coaching staff has the first clue as to know how to slow that offense down and I really don't look forward to watching them try.

Not trying to be negative, reality just sucks sometimes.

I think Dallas can compete with Denver, but not if they go with that "take what the defense gives you" junk and display poor defensive discipline again.

Yeah I'm not saying I think the Cowboys will win. All I'm saying is that there's no risk with this game really.

I expect this team to lose, and it's a little liberating.

If they do somehow play well and pull out a win, or just a close game, that's just gravy for me.

We are going to lose....I can live with this.

As long as Dez and Romo provide me with my high fantasy points, I will not be upset

Travel? Who knows. I'm sure a good majority of the fans that will be present will be bandwaggoners (look for new Nike Jerseys, or trying too hard throw backs).

That is the same thing I was thinking. Nothing to lose but a lot to gain.

not only am I not excited since we haven't beat the broncos since September of 95 but we are completely outclassed here it seems with their offense.

what is really bugging me is if we lose we have managed to setup RG3 with a do over on his horrible season so far. I can already see the headlines in Washington when all the media turns into cheerleaders when they play us.

they have two weeks to prepare for us and if they win they will be 2-3 and we will be 2-4. Its like a free do over for RG3. Im sick from the headlines I already know are coming.

damn san diego game.

I'm excited about this:The last time Manning faced the Cowboys, he went 36 of 48 for 365 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw four interceptions in Indianapolis' 38-35 overtime loss Dec. 5, 2010.

It's not like the Cowboys haven't showed up when they play good teams, Manning aint exactly Montana or Brady when it comes to games with allot of hype either. He's great till you look at his playoff record.

Im excited. Havent been able to watch the cowboys on my TV since th NY game, been having to watch redzone. So thats a plus. And they are at home, offense seems to play better at home.

Im thinking the cowboys offense need to score 27-30 points to stay in the game. I think they are probably thinking that way too.

Soooo, there's a good chance that we will see a more aggressive offense by Dallas this sunday, which should be fun to watch.

And im not expecting a win, but i cant wait to see what they've got if they play like they have nothing to lose instead of trying to play "not to lose" if that makes sense.

Exactly! I'm not sure if they will do this, but I feel like a couple of guys may actually step up and play a little desperate.

What does a game played 4 years ago have to do with anything? It was a 10 to 17 loss but again that was 4 years ago

Very excited. Kind of feels like a playoff game. I love playing the best and being in the spotlight as well.

If we win I could care less if our players get the big head either, they will have earned it!

The Cowboys are 2-2 and have missed the playoffs the last 2 seasons by one game so they have something to lose by not winning on Sunday. Every loss they have could come back to haunt them. Saying the Cowboys have nothing to lose and that it's a forgone conclusion the Broncos will trounce them is a terrible attitude for any fan to have. Granted the Cowboys chances of winning on Sunday don't real look good but it's not like Denver has been mowing down good teams. None of the teams they've beaten have a winning record.

The teams they've beaten have a combined record of 4-12 this season. If the Cowboys are going to stay competitive and have any confidence this season they can't afford to be humiliated at home. There's is embarrassment at stake and a complete butt whipping is going to cause other fans and those around the NFL to continue losing respect for the Cowboys. The team already looks like a joke to some this is a gut check game for the Cowboys.
