I am so excited to watch Romo this next game...I have not been this excited to watch the Boys in a while.

Going through the last 2.5 years with Vinny and Bledsoe has been the most boring football in Cowboys HISTORY...

The only excitement was the occasional deep pass to Glenn...which only happened 2-3 times a game.

I am truely excited about what Romo will bring at the QB position. He will make things happen.

It has been stated over and over again...with this oline Bledsoe had no chance...none. With Romo we have a chance!

The last few years have been torture to watch...

I agree, there is a certain excitement that goes with seeing what Romo can do. But I think we have to all be patient though, he could go out there and lay a complete egg on the field. That Panther D is no joke and he will be tested.

I think TO's numbers will start to go up, Romo is going to throw it to him regardless of he is doubled covered or not and the same goes to Glenn, Witten. Monday night is the first game that I have seen Witten active in a game, its already week 6!!

Gary Hogeboom and Steve Pelluer were exciting too.

QB should have been taken care of years ago.

That's what we get for three years worth of Vinny Testaverde's and Drew Bledsoe's. We got nothing!!!

well you and i got yelled at a lot for being negative and not supporting the team.

now it's so "in vogue" to do what we shoulda done back when parcells refused to play henson or romo in those last 3 games we were out of the playoffs.

whatever - it's time and it's been realized, so let's work on getting happy again and finding the "magic" back for this team!

I am excited too. I know what we have with Bledsoe. And that is a .500 team incapable of beating good/mediocre teams with him under center.

He is not going to get better with another year of seasoning. He was supposed to be "good to go" (to quote Taco Bell).

What we have with Romo is unknown. He could be worse. He could be better. But what's the point of going .500 with a QB that is not a long term solution?

Portland Fanatic,

I'm right there with you. I've always enjoyed watching younger players play and develop. They might become flops or they might prosper...and that's what makes it fun for me. For someone who likes the QB position so much, Testeverde and Bledsoe were hard eras for me. I'm rooting for Romo but I also think we should spend a high draft pick on another QB to have another young option.

Romo has the ability to spread the ball around. He hit Witten, Crayton, TO and attempted a throw to Glenn against the Giants. Can't say the same for Drew. We may finally get to see some of our weapons being used.

If Drew leaves this team he will find out real fast that things are much more difficult without his boy Glenn. He no longer has the arm to lead these fast receivers.

We got false hopes. Wasted seasons.
So at least now we can see IF we have a QB, or do we need to go get one IN THE DRAFT and not some other has been. I'm afraid we may see Ray Lucas in here.
I was really pulling for Drew and a great year, but after the Eagles game, I changed my mind, he has shown nothing to me this year. Yes, looked good against Commanders, Titans, Texans.... but not against Jaquars, Eagles, Giants. 3 very good defenses.
