Only thing left now are injuries and a lack of depth and you know how many posters here define depth? It's there as long as they don't have to play. I define it as I'll believe it when I see it play.

We've seen how NE and PHL overcome injuries and we've seen how the Cowboys do not. They seem to be able to overcome multiple injuries and the Cowboys get derailed with one. Isn't that the excuse for the offense being used here? Yosemite was out.

The Cowboys are top loading their starters unlike any other team in the league. If the QB and WR get signed, that will be 7 of the 11 O starters in the top 6 paid at their position in the NFL. This O ranked 22nd last season and didn't really improve that much after the WR was added.

I assume a bit of a bumpy road for the OC against some good DC's but the truth is that doesn't matter. He was given the keys to the vehicle on a team that they perceive to have that open window. He'd better steer it straight and do better than the last driver.

As far as the HC is concerned, with all of the selling that's been going on from camp on the talent, his excuses don't exist. That doesn't mean he doesn't get renewed but it won't be because of accomplishment unless he gets past the divisional round.

I have this team at 5th in the NFC, which means reaching the divisional round is overachieving but the main reason that is because of the coaching, all of it, Garrett, a new OC and I don't buy Richard as the second coming and think Marinelli is average. Good coaching should elevate players and if they can do that, they could have a better than 5th ranked season.

I have named this season, at least for me, the "No Excuses Allowed" season. It's time to lace'em up and see what this team can really do.

Never made an excuse to begin with. There is always a reason in any win or loss

Loaded roster.

To be fair, I would add QB too....though I feel he'll hold up his end.

Garrett has a rookie OC..... there's your built-in excuse for this season. How can he be expected to win under such horrible conditions?

Any head coaching excuses died at or before the end of the 2015 season.

Hope no one is surprised if both their personal expectations are not met this season and Garrett is still kicking it with the team next year. After all, it is 2019. Right now. Who is the current head coach? Right.

Excuses may be gone but that don’t mean they won’t get extended right around thanksgiving.

Personally I want Richard to be next man up, he can keep Moore and Garrett’s playbook!
