Chargers o-line rankings since 2020 according to Chatgpt below.
Additional notes from my look at PFR:
2021 the 10th ranked o-line was offset by the 29th ranked defense.
2023 the 7th ranked o-line was offset by the 24th ranked defense and Herbert was injured and didn't finish the season.
Efforts to make the case that Herbert has had it as good or even equal to Dak throughout his career are moronic.

| 2020 | 32nd | Worst offensive line in the NFL. Injuries and poor play from free-agent additions Bryan Bulaga and Trai Turner doomed Justin Herbert's rookie season. |
| 2021 | 10th | Massive turnaround after adding Rashawn Slater, Corey Linsley, and Matt Feiler. Slater immediately became one of the NFL's best left tackles. |
| 2022 | ~20th | Injuries hit hard (Slater, Linsley, Pipkins, etc.). The line regressed to roughly league average despite talent. |
| 2023 | 7th | One of the league's better units when healthy, led by Slater and Linsley. Rookie Zion Johnson improved and Jamaree Salyer provided depth. |
| 2024 | 17th | Rookie Joe Alt played well, but injuries (especially to Slater and interior linemen) and inconsistent guard play dropped the unit back to the middle of the league. |
