I am assuming that they either sign Zeke to a new contract or he comes in and plays under his old one. If and when that happens, what are your expectations for the upcoming season? I know the usual suspects on this board will say that we don't have a coach or a quarterback but I am feeling really good about the product we are putting out on the field.
The offense with the offensive line intact, a new playcaller, a full year of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup looking to take the next step and Tony Pollard really looks strong. The defense is loaded everywhere but safety and I thinks Woods is ready to come into is own. We have a deep defensive line with at least two dynamic pass rushers, the best linebacker trio in the game, a deep and good set of CBs. This is, in my opinion, a top 5 defense this year.
My expectations are that we win the division with at least 12 wins, go through the playoffs and at least get to the Super Bowl. I don't think that there is a great team in the AFC this year so I am gonna say it's Super Bowl Champions or bust for me. This team is that good. I know the Dak bashers will come out of the woodwork but I think he becomes a top ten quarterback this year and earns his new contract. What say you?

Dallas has to be a 10 win team minimum and even that seems like a little bit of an underachievement.

We should also start the season 3-0 with or without Zeke.

What really matters though is getting to the playoffs and actually doing something and not get outschemed so bad that we can't even see the other teams punter like we usually do.

I'm probably a fool but I say 12-4, win the division, and make it to at least conference championship weekend. This team showed us what they can do at the end of last season. And they beat some pretty good teams along the way. Anything less than last years results is a disappointment.

I think with or without Zeke this team is 3-1 the first month of the season. Whenever he shows up, we need him at 100% October 6th against the Packers. I think it goes GB, @ NYJ, and Phi. Tough stretch they need to go at least 2-1 in.

If this team does not make the playoffs even without Zeke. then something is really wrong. But will Jerry use that as an excuse to keep Garrett. Hopefully he is not that blind to see the real issue with coaching.

With Zeke, then it is NFCCG and / or SB for sure. I think he is that difference maker.

Barring any major injuries, this team has a chance to go all the way.

This is the only team in the league where predictions are from 8-8 to SB Champions. Tells you a lot. That is coming from the "experts". Talent-wise with or without Zeke this is a 11-13 win team that has a deep playoff run in it. I think the defense is going to be among the top 3 in football. The DL will generate a ton of pressure. The LBs will punish opponents and cause turnovers. I think they can be run on some but I believe the offense is good enough to force teams to pass. The CBs are very solid and should create turnovers. Jeff Heath is one of the worst starters in all of football but even he should benefit from the consistent pressure the DL will cause. Offensively this team is stacked. The OL, which is overrated in my opinion, should still be among the best. Dak will have his best season yet. The WRs / TEs are going to be much better. Gallup and Cooper will dominate and I expect the TE play to be miles better not because of Witten but because the young guys getting much better. The running game will be solid with or without Margarita Man. The K is a disaster waiting to happen. Garrett loves putting games on the line with the K and this will hurt them. What holds this team back? The HC. Again. Sorry folks been saying for years Garrett is a minus 2 coach (meaning he costs you at least 2 games). So instead of home field and 12/13 wins you get wild card weekend and 10/11 wins. My prediction is better team than 2019, beastly defense, 11-5, losing in the divisional round game. Jason Garrett will be fired. I hope I am wrong and Garrett can coach them to the SB. Don't see it.

I’m no Dak apologist either, but he’s had a winning record every year there, especially now that Washington and NYG’s QB situations are worse than they’ve ever been.

You think Zeke is out for the duration?
