It's owned by the Commanders isn't it? And yes, they ban people for the stupidest reasons. They could be 100% wrong in any argument, continue to troll the **** out of you, and you'll be the one who ends up getting banned. It's the stupidest place to interact.

Thanks. Yeah apparently its owned by the Commanders and alot of decisions seem very arbitrary- particularly if you are critical of the team. The Washington Post has basically written scathing reports about Snyder and the Commanders PR department, and I supported and agreed with the Post articles, and I was called a dupe account and a troll.

Oh well. Guess I won't be giving Snyder any more of my money anytime soon.

My only complaint here is the obvious trolls arent run off. Theres many here with thousands of posts that are clearly fans of other teams but pretend to be cowboy fans or they have some weird agenda that contributes nothing.

I remember some dude who was running the forum before it got sold off the Snyder being a show off blow hard.

He had this bravado post about showing his credibility to a bunch of raucous opposing fans in the stadium and them backing down because it was some threat of physical superiority he possessed.

He was a microcosm for the worst people could be on the internet when their true names are hidden.

I think his poster name was Art. Can't be sure of the details, but I certainly was not wrong about the bravado. Internet tough guy.

But criticing your own organization and being skeptical of the PR the Front Office is putting out, then getting banned, screams like censorship.

Oh well, done deal now. haha

Fan forums tend to be pretty decent microcosms of a team's general fanbase, I think. There are the more aggressive ones (Eagles), the ones full of aggressive but not very knowledgeable bandwagon fans (Saints, Pats), the huge but full of "casual fans" (CZ), the devoted-but-always-down (Browns, Lions, Bengals), etc. For a while I made it a point to hang out on opposing team forums, usually just lurking, before the Cowboys played them to see what people were saying and every team's forum is pretty much as one would expect.

There are exceptions of course, but your typical stereotype about a given team's fans usually has some basis in apparent reality.
