Ez to be an OLB in Parker's defense

They just hired a specialist.
That specialist may want the aid of another specialist and Hall of Famer to learn from, coaches are always stating they learn from other coaches and players. Dallas could look at Ware to help with technique; he worked with Parsons, but with the move to the 3-4, Ware could be great for these young players transitioning to outside linebacker pass rusher.

Absolutely fantastic question fivetwos...
"How do you end up with 2 1st round guards and 3 20mil DTs with holes abound elsewhere?"

Roster construction 101, courtesy of Jones Inc. I tell ya.
And here we are.
At the end of the day, at least in the playoffs, football games are won in the trenches.

Finesse guys may make the headlines and win MVP awards, but the NFL is still a physical game.

Those coaches were part of the decaying patriarchy of the NFL.

"Young Christian's now in the big leagues....got his turn at bat...and there ain't nothing wrong with that."

Hes........moving on up.
Be careful with the P word, you might trigger somebody.

This is great for EZ. I still believe he can make a difference as a pass rusher. I blame Eberflus for basically everything last year--good players all played bad under him.

Why wouldn’t you still believe lol he had a great year last year all things considered

These are visions and plans, it's too early in the game to know exactly how it's going to work out for game one,

Now they're going to use every available practice, OTAs, mini-camps, and training camp, all the way into preseason, to see what guys can go where, and play their best,

so, in the beginning they're telling you what they hope they can do with certain players...

It doesn't mean that's how they're rolling into the season....

we don't even have our draft picks or free agents, nothing to go by other than, yes ,a guy like EZE, Overshown, and Liafu will all get WORK at OLB.

Yeah, in no way shape or form says that's where they're going to end up in the regular season.

This is truly what these camps are for All the offseason work is to figure out who can play where especially in a brand-new scheme.

Some of them can end up off the team, that is why they bring in a lot of players in camp They'll start with 90 how many and will it down to 53 plus 10 more for the practice squad that's a lot of players not making the team.

I mean, IF for example, Liafu doesn't do well at outside linebacker, like they planned, then they move them back inside, if he still doesn't look right ,he may not make the team,

but people get all up in arms on social media "I cannot believe Liafu isnt just cut", and to start, will be used as an outside linebacker, blah blah blah blah blah.. Fans eyes just about every defender on our team last year is trash and they want them all cut but that's not how it works...

hey, let's let the new defensive coaches work and let's see what happens. There's going to be a lot of open competitions and guys who can't pick up the defense is going to get cut, might be some surprise cuts...

Are the three 20+ million a year DTs all going to be on the field at the same time?

They invested a TON to FINALLY get DT right. Does this scheme work in accordance with that?

Wouldn’t be the first time they invested serious capital in one position to fit a scheme only to change it a season later.
This isn't going to be your standard, Parcells-type 3-4 alignment.

The three DT's will be on the field at once and they will be attacking "vertically" I think either Schotty or Parker has said. That means Quinnen Williams and company won't be playing out of position. They will still be doing what they do best.

Unlike the past DC, Parker is going to allow his personnel to do what they do best, and not force them into a rigid scheme.
