The hype machine will hopefully slow down on this guy. He was totally and 100% dominated by whoever the Rams backup RT is. I mean dominated. Pretty obvious to me his “stellar” play in camp is more about how bad our tackles are more than how good he is.

Another camp hero, but you'll hear "it's only one game!", we've got to stop hyping these guys up when they go against OUR own guys. We see what happens when OUR own guys go against other guys, they don't look the same at all, you would think they just started playing football. So we've been given a false sense of hope so far for EZ, let's go back and let him be a rookie, instead of appointing him to Canton Ohio already!!!

Yeah. Other than the coaching staff itself, this was my biggest dispointment. McVay doesnt play starters pre season and Eze was invisable. Sure didnt hurt Micah's bargaining power at all.
EzE had a couple decent plays because he hustled. But the runner had already gotten 5 yards lol.

If a guy is performing well at camp it is ok to say that. One preseason game doesnt wipe away a whole training camp.

Was that #41?

Man the guy has no clue at all. I was laughing the whole time watching him.

But the same can be said about #93 (Toia?) And those others with #9×. Also #58 (56?). Cant beat single man blockers and nobody knows where the ball actually was going.

Do they gets bonuses sticking to their man as long as they can? For trying new handfighting moves? Or looking down to the grass all the time?

What the hell who are those dummies? The 5 stooges?

Where do we find this kind of crap?

It’s premature to say the hype wasn’t real.
It is but it’s a double edged sword. Premature to say the hype was real too. Truth is we know very little on these guys until the real games start.

Personally I think Ezeiruaku is going to be fine in time, but camp and preseason hero’s flame out all the time. Guyton a perfect example of the August hype machine.

I just don’t know what these reporters should do. They report what they see and if Eze is dominating that can’t be denied.

If it came out of nowhere I’d understand but he was great in college and looked like he was gonna do the same here.

As far as Guyton goes….he was a raw college prospect who had a good camp. I think he’s gonna figure it out eventually.

Agreed, I simply hate how much stock we put into this time of year. Especially for rookies where we lift them up so much then as soon as they hit a road block we pull the ladder out from underneath them.

Acknowledge the good and the bad but we need to keep everything in perspective and make sure we are not getting too high or low on these guys as they go through the inevitable rookie roller coaster. We are still guessing what these guys are going to be in 2025.

You can find out who they are by looking at the roster.

Ouch

He still has every chance to be successful, but he does seem very small. Remember many people were mocking the Eagles because it looked like their highly drafted edge (Smith) was a bust, but he apparently came on in year 2.
But the talk of EZE in any way shape or form making up for Micah is beyond ridiculous.

Wouldn’t be too critical of the guy. It was his first live unscripted NFL action.

In focusing on doing the right thing from a player assignment perspective, it may have slowed the suddenness with which he plays.

Let him play a couple more games before slapping a still too early grade on him.

Weird, when he was drafted I was in the 2% that wasn’t overly hyped on the player and now I’m in the minority defending him.
