In the "Sounds from the Sideline" the running back coach tells Zeke he's going with Pollard first. Zeke immediately and without hesitation approves

I don't even understand why this would be an issue, every time plays two backs

Let's all applaud Zeke for being a team player. Something that used to be a given is now a point for idolization and caononization.

My take is that Davis solidifies himself in the #3 back role by the end of this season. He's actually kind of a smaller version of Zeke and Pollard.. He's a powerful crafty runner who also catches the ball like a receiver. He can't be an every down back until he puts on 10 pounds of muscle because 205 pound backs don't last in this league unless they're change of pace types.. Which he really isn't. He's much more of a 3 down back to me. I really like his game though but you can see that he just needs to get a little bigger and stronger.. Training table should take care of that.
Staff knows better than any of us, but I believe Pollard is who he is and that is a very dynamic change of pace back that plays that role perfectly in his current situation and at his current
size, and IDB that Pollard adding more weight is beneficial to Pollard or this offense.
Davis has looked good with his limited snaps, and his continued development this season allows us some real flexibility in next years draft and upcoming contracts.

Looking like a 1st round pick....I'd take him if he falls to us at 32 ;)
A truly gifted RB and at 32 why not, close enough to 2nd round pick for me..lol, but this upcoming RB class is stacked and we could wait, but Robinson is about as solid and confident pick that you could make.

Dude this is sad. You need to grow up
It’s sad they still can’t admit they were wrong. Heck some even say zeke is still better.

I will continue to rub it in until the stubborn apologists man up.

I like Achane from A&M.

I prefer a RB with breakaway speed though.

If we draft an RB in the first round I will lose my mind. Time after time after time we prove that the 4th round RB is the way to go. The low cost free agent RB is the way to go. Big contract high draft pick RBs is not the way to go. I would love to say we have finally learned our lesson but tomorrow we will probably trade away more first round picks for a shiny new WR.

You are one stubborn mule Roy and I thought I was the old mule in the barn, and I don't mind that you stand firm with your beliefs, but just occasionally perk those ears up and listen, it's still and always has been a valuable recourse occasionally to hear with your ears first, then speak with your mouth.
