Special player that has been run into the ground

Shame because he had a HOF trajectory up until KM took the reigns
I think he had a 50/50 shot of Canton of it wasn't for Goodell.

That bogus suspension doesn't happen and he would have gotten a 3rd rushing title and would have leaped either Sproles or McCoy (most likely Sproles) for the final all-decade team spot

3x rushing champ, all decade team, and 10K club would of at least put him in legitimate contention. Like you said he was a special player (he gets hated on a bunch but he's arguably controversial suspension away from a fringe hall career)

His first season was so much fun to watch. He's definitely been a dependable workhorse for this team, besides the fact that he has indeed slowed down the last few seasons.

He's done after this season no matter what numbers he flashes. He would have been gone before this season but Dallas would have taken a huge bite in cap.

So, they had to hold on to him for one more season. He's not worth $14 million per season. I won't miss him. He's not even ranked in the top 15 RB's. Talk about going downhill after the big pay day. And fans complain about Prescott. Hilarious!

No. He was never going to be gone before the season no matter what some fans think. That's about as silly as the Prescott complaints.

Yeah he's on pace for close to 1100 currently. His snap count has gone up last 3 weeks compared to the first 3 weeks

Curious if he makes the 10k club which is getting really rare for this current generation (post Frank gore/Peterson the formula has been over work/burnout running backs like Foster/Bell/Charles/Gurley....ect for 3 or 4 seasons then dump them).

After this season he'll need like 2 years 1600-1700 yards. I think he takes a huge paycut because he knows Dallas will give him enough carries to do so (he said recently on a podcast when asked "biggest goal besides superbowl" his answer was "I really really want to join the 10k club, especially since it's getting rare post 2010")

I think he'll have to take a paycut to stay. I guess we'll see how much he wants to be here, but honestly, I can't see anyone giving him big money anywhere else at this point in his career. I think there's a good chance that he agrees to a paycut and we use that to re-sign Pollard ... unless Pollard gets the big head and thinks he needs to go somewhere where he's the featured back for 20-plus carries a game, which I believe will shorten his career quite a bit.

Comparison showing only rushing yardage accumulated by Elliott, Emmitt Smith and Tony Dorsett during their first six seasons.
I’m colorblind.

Say what you want. Zeke has been a war horse. Tough as nails. Pretty darn durable. A blocking sled with hair. But it all came with a cost. It robbed him of any speed he had left. Now we are all looking for the next gamebreaking back to come to Dallas. A rinse and repeat feature.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Hard to believe this is his 7th year here. He's had a very good career so far. 3 great years, 3 good ones, and this one TBD.

Last game was a reminder what a healthy and motivated Zeke can do. Hopefully he can continue that kind of running. With that contract size he'll need to show week after week.

Zeke carried this franchise for years. He carried dak at the beginning. He’s earned all the respect in the world. He a warrior.

and by the way he has a career 7800 rush yards right now. He’s 27. It won’t be n easy task at all…. But If he can somehow rush for 4000 more yards over his career that’s 12k. Every guy with 12k career yards is in the HOF.
