Humble Zeke:

"It's pretty humbling," Elliott said. "When you're a rookie, you're just looking to put your head down, help the team, and learn the ropes. To accomplish this level of success off the field shows just how passionate football fans are in Dallas, Ohio, my home state of Missouri and all around the world. And to be up there with Dak and Dez, alongside great players like Tom Brady and Odell Beckham, is very special to me."

Dez was number 4 overall in jersey sales! Witten 12th!

Good find, Zordon!!!
Thanks man. Sorry I couldn't post the article in the OP, my phone was acting funny earlier.

Doesn't Dallas opt out of revenue sharing by paying a specified amount to the league and then keep their own sales?? I'm pretty sure they used to do this and were the only franchise to do so at the time.
Indeed they do. They still owe "their share" of shared revenue with the league (basically the average of all 32 teams) but they keep above and beyond that number. The interesting thing about that deal is that Jerry made the deal when the Cowboys weren't a particularly good football team. Others saw it as a risk because the Cowboys would owe their share even if their sales didn't reach that particular plateau. Jones knew better. He knew there was little to no risk and that, at some point, Cowboys sales would reach a stratosphere that no one in the league would be able to touch (he's currently there and it's only going to get bigger).
