FA grade so far

We will see what they do and who they get (not hopeful based on past performance), but the OP asked for FA Grade so far and so far they have not gotten better, can make they case they got worse.
They for sure improved the linebacker room and they will be better at running back after the draft.

C- at this stage. Some decent depth brought in, and I'm actually fairly hopeful of Sanborn doing well.

Letting Lewis and Golston walk without adequately replacing either (yet) was poor though. Also no reason we couldn't have gone after some starters.

A+ because this was exactly what was expected. They met expectations.

If you thought Dallas would do something different, then YOU get an F.

This is what Dallas does in free agency. The media and everyone giving grades doesn't know how Dallas operates. This has been going on for years.
So, if your kid fails the math test, they did great as long as you expected it? huh?

Did they though? Is Sanborn/Murray/Liufau better than Overshown/Kendricks/Liufau?

I guess a lot of that comes down to when he is back and how healthy Overshown is for 2025. I'm not convinced the position is better than it was at its peak in 2024...at least at its peak in 2024. I still wouldn't be against the Cowboys addressing the position early on in the draft if a Jihaad Campbell type is high on their board.

Yeah, but the Mediots and fans do not grade Dallas on a curve grading system.

Fans are not hood winked. But the Jones Boys think they are hood winking them. Therefore within lays the problem.
Yes, agree completely. The Jones boys are "fiiling needs" if you just look at the positions and they think they are out there being savvy but the people they brought it don't do much from a talent perspective. The only people giving high fives are the two of them...maybe Spalding joins in.

The general Cowboy standard of anything over the last 30 years has been lowered to such a level that everything is measured on this "Adjusted for Jerry's incompetence scale."
Especially free agency.

But the organization is still worth the most, they just suck at football.

A marketing empire that dabbles in football on the side.

I think getting a solid #2 receiver and starting running back is necessary to see any improvement from the offense. So far they’ve clearly left that unaddressed.

It seems like defensively, they may be slightly better if healthy. LB and DE is still iffy. I think re-signing Kendricks is in play after the draft. LB in round 1 is unlikely but not totally out of the equation.

I would have liked to have kept jlew.but not a what he got. I was ready to move on from DLaw

I think it’s a solid C. They are in a position where they can draft at BPA according to needs

Rather than just needs drafting and reaching . FA probably not done yet

D-

Just meeting expectations doesnt garner an A

D.

Signing Solomon Thomas was a positive.

BUT filling holes/needs with mostly oft-injured guys or guys that haven't panned out/developed does not move the needle at all

We landed up to 3 starters on the cheap. At worst, one starter and the rest rotational. Not too shabby.
