I'm neutral. Don't care about where a guy gets drafted. I care about opportunity. They will have every chance to get reps here. Meaningful. Sanborn, Murray , Thomas have a chance to be good. Elam is anyone's guess but he is very young. I'm not caught up on draft position.

There's lots of work yet to be done, that's for sure. The draft is limited in its ability to render this team a winning one. Let's just hope something far more encouraging is in the works.

The clock is ticking and the time to settle this team's needs is at risk. Surely, this team can afford to do a lot more, with a limited draft to arrive at a workable situation.

It's high time for this FO to get far more determined for progress. After all, our fans have been waiting for decades. Are we really not to be considered?!

Man, I'm trying to give them the benefit of doubt here, but I just don't see it. They haven't gotten better anywhere on the roster except maybe LB and that's a stretch

So far this offseason just based on last year

QB - downgraded as there currently isn't a serviceable backup, and Dak is injury prone
RB - downgraded
FB - same
WR - downgraded
TE - same
OL - same

DE - downgraded
DT - same yet more expensive
LB - upgraded slightly, maybe same with loss of Kendricks
CB - downgraded
S - same
Special Teams - same

I would give them a grade of “D” thus far.
I think they are taking flyers on a lot of the players they signed or traded for; seemingly banking on players’ pedigree and draft position rather than playing ability. I don’t think any of the new players can take the place of Gholston, Lewis, DLaw and even Dowdle. Add to this the FO is expending draft picks, which are a commodity for a team who typically builds exclusively via the draft.
With that being said, this is the most active the FO has been in free agency in years. So maybe that counts for something.

They are dominating tier 5 free agency! Unfortunately other teams are still using tiers 1,2,3 and 4.
The new coaches must be shaking their heads. They have zero chance to succeed, with Jerry/Stephen AND Mr free pass McClay.

They got bodies but had to give up draft capital to get them. High college prospects who have failed at the NFL level. Most of these guys will not be here come next year where as those late round picks would be given a little more leeway to develop into a better player.

We have lost a lot more than we got. We filled in with Busts and lost legitimate players in DLAW, Jordan Lewis and Rico.
