FA - significant upgrade at each level instead of Trey Hendrickson

DE and MLB are hardest for rookies to have an impact

DE - Odafe Owey - as an outside LB in this D attacking he can be more effective than he was with the Chargers.
MLB - Devin Lloyd - Size and talent while still young - necessary signing since Styles will not be there at 12.
CB - Alontae Taylor - hybrid nickle slot that play outside. Value pick
S - Jalon Thompson - very solid vet = major upgrade

Draft - using draftek - most realistic for who is available
1-#12 - Dillion Thieneman Safety 6’0 200 4.35 and HIQ

#20 - trade Texans - #28 and #59

1-#28 - Caleb Banks DE 6’6 320 strong side in this odd front. Sam Williams didn’t work out and is a FA.
2#59 - Jacob Rodriguez LB 6’0 230
4 #112 - Jalon Kilgore S hybrid 6’1 210 perfect piece for nickle package.
5 # 150 - Demetrius Crownover OT 6’7 320
5-# 177 Kaleb Elarms Orr - OLB 6’2 234
6#215Kendall Daniels LB 6’5 240
7# 225 Enrique Cruz OT 6’5 1/2 313

I'm a big fan of your draft but I think Caleb Banks is way out of position. I'm thinking Peter Woods might already been taken in your draft but I can see Woods RDE.

Probably my favorite so far. Make it happen brother.

Can’t see that amount of free agent signings. We probably with have around $25 to $30 million to play with after contracts are restructured or renegotiated. I’m thinking 2 signings in the first couple days of the legal tampering period.
Boye Mafe 4 years - $68 to $76 million - 1st year hit $7-8 million
Alontae Taylor 4 years - $70 to $78 million - similar to Mafe

Think they spend between $8 to $10 per year on a linebacker but will not break the bank. Preferably someone similar with Parker’s system
Alex Singleton
Nakobe Dean

After these signings, it’s probably all 1 year contracts for near the league minimum.

I think houston could be a partner too. And good work by you. That took some time. Excellent.

Only issue is the trade slants quite a bit in Dallas' favor on the trade chart.
20th (850) for 28th (660) and 59th (310)

Now, same teams, this one does match up very close.

20th (850) for the 38th (520) and the 59th (310)

so basically its our lesser 1st rounder for both of houston's 2nd rounders. Then maybe a flip flop of a late round pick.

would you do that? Again, nice work by you sir overall.

Zierlein in his nfl.com profile of Banks suggests Banks is best used as a base defensive end

Throw in a FA safety and I would take this all day long. Draft a boundary corner and another safety, and that’s a good basis for progress.

I've never heard of a 327 lb. DE. My fear is the effort expended rush after rush he would wear down fast. Now if he was a player chose to replace Clark's contract I can see that. Also I recognize my of lack of knowledge regarding Banks skill set

It’s more of 3-4 end type. Caleb Banks is perfect because of his arm length, power and height. He certainly could rotate in nickle at DT

Osa and EZe don't start? Maybe Jerry shouldn't have paid Osa 20 mil per.

Nice work.

I like the draft... Kilgore and Orr might go higher but nitpicking.
The FA would be too expensive.
Q and Clark extensions give you about 30m in cap space. Cut Hooker for 7m. That's about it.
I don't think they want to restructure everybody on the team. OSA is a maybe. Bland and Ferg are doubtful for restructures.

Pick 2 of those high end Free Agents that you got there and you might be able to add a mid tier guy on top of that.

Good job though... it would definitely improve the team.

Yea, a lot of conversation that he doesn’t fit. OSA perhaps gets traded or rotates in. EZ or DeMarion. I think you’re getting more pressure with D
