FA Priorities

Top Priority-sign a high-level, experienced pass rusher. Prospects at this position usually have a steep learning curve and take a long-time to develop. Team also needs to add depth at the position for their rotation.

Sign a quality starting MIKE Linebacker-Murray is expected to leave, they already have released Logan Wilson. This might be a position primed to add resources in both the draft and fa as our other starting off the ball linebacker Overshown is injury prone.

Replace Donovan Wilson with at safety. Wilson was best inside the box as a run defender, they need more of a coverage safety as they will be playing more of a shell defense with both safeties back.

Slot/Corner-they need depth at the corner position with Bland/Revel as their two expected starters. Have a huge hole at the nickel slot position which is a key position in CP's scheme. Figure a big emphasis in draft process here, but they also have to address this area in fa.
Overall a very good summary and breakdown of the defensive needs..
BUT...
To not even mention the glaring offensive tackle hole(s) is a stretch to say the least.

Is there a reason I can't see any talk about Rashawn Gary looks like the Cowboys are signing him I don't see a new thread on it yet..

What's your thoughts on him I think he's a good fit here regardless of last year.. He's a Christian Parker guy...
I wrote on the Gary thread. When you study the Eagle roster two years ago when they won the SB, they had a front that was built around their elite DT in Jalen Carter. Their edges were Josh Sweat and Nolan Smith, Gary is a similar player.

I think CP's defense is better to have multiple edge rushers than 1 big fish. Biggest thing about his scheme is disguise.
Hendrickson, Gary, EZ, and a draft pick is a top flight pass rusher room. Better than we ever had with Parsons.

Just think of Seattle's defense, they didn't have 1 elite edge rusher, but they were excellent at pressuring the QB. We want to build a defense with multiple threats.

Gary, Hendrickson, EZ, draft pick are not multiple threats? Let alone Osa, Quinnen, and Overshown.
