Fabini at TE on Offense

I think the Offensive Line dropped the ball somewhat in this game but I didnt think they were absolutely putrid to force the Brain Trust to bring in Fabini at TE.

I didnt record the game, but was this more for throwing a different "wrinkle" in the game plan or for pass protection.

At one point, there was even a 1 Wide Receiver route and I just didnt think the Pass Rush from the Saints was that great.

they have been doing that quite a bit this year, just the anouncer wasn't pointing it out.

Like stealth said they've been running a third tackle a lot this year. Definately not something new. And despite what Madden said we've been using it for both passing and rushing downs.

I'm thinking one of these days we'll pass it to Fabini in the flat.
