Does anyone think that they aren't making a strong push for Columbo because Fabini is still on the roster and has 2 more years left on his deal

I sure hope that's not the case. Fabini had to play the role of Blocking TE last year. I would be disappointed to hear Jerry say: "We didn't feel the need to bring Colombo back, mainly because we still have Jason Fabini."

I don't think this is the case.

I can't remember where i read this, but yesterday i read that we are offering a 2 yr deal right now, but telling Columbo that if he plays as well this year as he did last year they will give him a long-term deal.

I think at this point they are waiting for him and his agent to finish looking for the bigger contracts, and then we will sign him back.
