Nothing has really changed cowboy fans, face up to it.

Good ole wade was just telling the fans and media what they want to hear, so he could keep his job.

What has really changed, nothing really. Only 2 things so far, special teams coach fired and new one hired and adam jones released.

Has brad johnson whom everyone knows is too old on this team to play, has brad been released no.

Has any other coaches been released NO!

while good ole wade is sitting on his fat lazy rear end, other coaches are being hired right and left, so the cowboys will be left holding the bag again in getting good coaches, if any more coaches are released, fired from the cowboys.

Has the punter, the new one Sam whatever his name been released NO!

My point being, the same old same old is happening in Dallas. Good ole cupcake wade philllips sits on his fat lazy rear end, and thinks everthing will be ok, give him time.

How much time has good ole wade had to do something, almost 3 weeks right, and nothing really done, has wade shown everyone his plan, NO!

I rest my case! Get ready for another losing season with good ole wade in charge, because nothing will be done till it is too late. :starspin

everyone knows how spencer the linebacker has gotten into trouble with the law. Has good ole wade called him in to town to answer for it, and having the cowboys good name smeared NO!

Where is the tough policy that good ole wade said he would do?

even spencer said, who cares, when he was arrested. Thats my point, good ole wade said he can get tough, have you seen anything yet to suggest otherwise, NO!

I don't think either Pelascu or Brad Johnson have contracts anymore. They wouldn't have to be released.

The NFL season is not even over with give it a rest, all change was not going to take place in 3 weeks, this is a long off-season with many decision out there to be made and because not all have been done at this point means nothing. Geez get a clue, do you whine just to hear yourself? Stop and think for one second before posting

well i read somewhere that brad johnson is still on the team, brad had a 3 year contract with the cowboys.

my point being, that good ole wade, said i can get tough, i will make changes,

but good ole wade, sits and sits and sits, does nothing till the issue is forced on him, just like the defense last year, till good ole wade was forced to handle the defense, you saw the results,

and its been over 2 weeks now that wade has had time to view tape, film, cowboys, and formulate a plan.

what it tells me, just like wade is, he does nothing till he is forced too.

so same ole same ole

yes, the season is long, but while the cowboys are sitting on their hands, like good ole wade is doing, other nfl coaches are being hired and looked at in the NFL.

thats what i disagree with, and remember good ole wade promised to be tough on players, has anything really been done to spencer or said, NO!

even spencer said, who cares, thats my point~!

wade takes his sweet time. If you were going to be tough like you said you were, brad johnson should already be gone from this team, probably the punter too.

you still have major decisions to make on greg ellis and roy williams whom count about 6.5 million each against the cap. Granted, they cant be traded if they are or the cowboys could get something for them till the trade season starts again, i think that is in march, when trading starts up again.

and i am not whining, I am still ticked off about the season last year, and wades laid back attitude.

thats my point, nothing has changed, he still has a laid back attitude, and it shows even now.

Getting "tough" doesn't mean getting rid of players and coaches wholesale. That is just stupid. It's a very long off season, things need to be evaluated, take time. what if he brings in 5 new coaches now that are average. Then after the SB, there are 5 very good coaches available.

Players releases don't start to what, Feb. 9th or somewhere around there. Not sure if this is when FA start or not. I have not looked it up yet.

His getting "tough" can be, making the players more responsible for their actions and play when camps start.

what's he going to say to Spencer...NO, you can't go back to Indiana to see family and friends....

It's early, Things Take Time.

The season is over for 3 weeks, free agency hasn't started, the declare date for the NFL is today so they don't even know every player who will be available to draft, the combines have not happened yet, our coaches are giving interviews for jobs elsewhere, one coach (the most hated one) was fired and replaced with someone much more respected.

Good grief. I mean seriously, people need to jerk the undies out of the wad. This is ridiculous.

i believe you are what you are, and its hard to change from a soft coach like good ole wade is to a tough coach.

Yes, you can make changes if you want to make a statement to the team and the players,. If you sit on your hands and wait and wait, just like you did in training camp, then nothing has changed.

Its easier to go from a hard coach to a soft coach, because the players still fear you. When the players dont fear you, and a player like spencer says Who Cares, after he was arrested, then you need to send a message to that player. Then, the other players get that message too.

Granted, you cant tell a player where to go or whom to see, but you can chew on his little rear end, you could send a cowboys represenative to him when he was in jail, and tell him in no uncertain terms this attitude and behavior wont be tolerated.

Just like when cant think of the players name, but he was a defensive linemen that was shot in the chest, when he woke up, Landry was in the hospital room, and told him did you learn you lesson.

Even then Landry went to see him. Just like during jimmy johnson term, he fired a highly qualified linebacker that the cowboys acquired that day, adn jimmy johnson fired him for being asleep in a team meeting that same day.

You have to send messages to this team and the players. The longer you wait and do nothing, then the cowboys players attitude, desire and want to doesnt change.

When, Spencer says after he was arrested, Who Cares, then that right there is a statement and poor attitude from a football player on the cowboys team, thats what needs to be addressed on this team, not chemistry,, granted that builds as you keep winning, chemistry does. But poor attitude by players has to be addressed and not waited on.

Thats my point. This team need some kicking their rear ends on this team by either the head coach or jerry jones. Thats why I am all for shanahan. Good ole wade is too soft, period and he still doesnt get it.

Not many teams are doing much right now and will not until after the season. As for players like Ellis or Roy who they have to make a call on due to contract there is ample time

Being shot in the chest and being arrested for a bar fight....isn't there a "little" bit of difference in that......
Many people say things like...who cares....after some incident, it's a defense mechanism. I'm sure he is regretting it.

John Roper was that LB. And he was a name but not a difference maker on the field. Very good college LB, higher sought after, was he a 1st round pick?. Had some dedent games, years, but when he was signed by Dallas, he was marginal at best.
