I am a bar tender and one night one of the servers came up and asked what someone would have to say to get hooked up. I told him to tell them that "Go Cowboys!" was a good start.

A little while later the server came back and said that they said it without hesitation and I asked if they were just saying it for the hook up or if they really meant it. (I had already poured with a heavy hand. :eek:P) He told me they totally meant it, and that the gentleman at the table was the pilot for the Cowboys. I got to meet 'im. Very nice guy. Made me all warm and fuzzy knowing he was responsible for getting our Boys safely to their destinations. : ) Needless to say, they were hooked up for the rest of their stay. :D

So you are saying you intentionally got airline pilots drunk? Pilots that fly the Cowboys and their staff? Drunk? Good job!

;)

He could probably get in serious trouble if that got out, being a pilot and all.

I have tried to add a few Dallas players via facebook and have not gotten any approvals back? Do they have a team facebook or something that I'm missing?

It wasn't last night. :laugh2:

Are they not allowed to drink at all? I know it was a week of a home game because I remember thinking along those lines, too. PLUS....it was a pomegranate martini. Likely for his wife/girlfriend/the woman who was with him. Not really a guy's drink, ordinarily. :p:

I think they can as long as they aren't flying for at least 24 hours or something maybe longer not really sure. When I did security at a hotel they would come into the bar every now and then and drink but not very often.

I concur. I used to be a hotel manager in NYC and I remember something similar to this - not being able to drink if their next flight took off with in 12-24 hours. The pilots' sometimes used to ask what time the hotel bar closed after they checked in.

I'm friends with Marty B, John Phillips, Ogletree, and Sam Hurd. I'm pretty sure it just takes them a long time to add you. I'm sure they get tons of friend requests and it takes them a while to go through them and accept everybody.

Easy now!! Pom margaritas are tops, regardless of your plumbing:D . And they're even considered healthy!:laugh2: I'm not sure what was meant by the pilot getting in trouble for drinkng?? As long as they're not flying or flying soon, it doesn't matter I don't think.
