The only thing they can do with Lawrence is to IR him for return. But they claimed they wouldn't do that. I really doubt they can find a FA swing tackle after roster cuts. Parnell is likely that guy again. I also don't see a 4th TE unless the guy is a H-Back type to take the fullback duties, highly unlikely they just find someone after cutdowns. The STs coach has Jeff Heath as his punt protector and on other STs so he is likely making it for STs.

Anybody that projects Lawrence to PUP fails.

Also, it's highly unlikely that they keep 7 CBs even with Scandrick not counting against the 53.

Decent projection, except seeing the name "Hayden" on that list.

Parnell was solid in the preseason game.

In fairness, Lawrence injury was about 1 day too late for PUP, lol.

Going to be tough to keep Spencer off PUP if he can't play 2 or 3 weeks and also keep Lawrence on the roster for 6-8 weeks of inactivity.

IMO, if Spencer is not already practicing, I don't see him providing much early in the season if he is active. He would only have to stay on the PUP for the first 6 games. By then he should be much closer to 100% and roster spots always seem to open up at that point in the season.

Ideally, one of the young guys like Bush or Boatright will step up in the preseason games and make themselves more valuable than Spencer at less than 100% readiness.

I tend to see it the same way but we've heard Spencer is well ahead of schedule.
If he can play as nickel pass rusher by week 2 then it becomes a much tougher equation if the goal is winning this year.
Bush or Boatright are much more likely to surpass (in the short term) another rookie in Lawrence than a proven Pro Bowler in Spencer.
Spencer doesn't need to learn technique or scheme; just needs to physically be able to handle it. Tho how he handles it is merely a guess.
We know Lawrence was pretty raw before injury and even if physically 100% chances are he is limited his rookie year.

All that said I expect a better DE brought in after cuts. At least in week 2 unless Spencer is active and contributing.

Parnell has always been solid. No idea why anyone would think he is some major problem to fix.
He is a solid back up OL and can be for another 4-6 years.

Our OL is the best group on the team. There's zero reason to get fancy our outsmart ourselves there.

Yes, I don't really get it. He might have had some issues in practice, but anytime he's been in a game he's been reasonably good. He was fine in the SD game. He was good in the 1 preseason game that he played last year. He was reasonably good at both LT and RT in games that he played in 2012.

It will be a difficult decision on whether to activate him.

Even if he is healthy enough to play, I wonder about his strength.
