I think what they are saying is repugnant and insensitive. I also think they have the right to say it. I have the option to listen/read it or not. But just as they have a right to say these things we also have the right to tell them they are idiots.

So what? If everyone is called to be indignant about every offensive utterance, there wouldn't be enough time in the day to relax.

Stop trying to police the thoughts and speech of people and chances are when they find they're ignored, they'll probably just remain in a small place that doesn't really effect anyone.

So after that what would your suggestion be to the loss of thousands of jobs and hundreds of millions lost in the economy? Saying that would be like me saying that just because I don't eat at McDonalds and don't like it that they should all be closed down.
