Fact: Keith Davis played better tonight than Roy Williams has all year

It's fitting that all the guys with sigs of Roy making a big hit from like three years ago are the first ones to jump out and defend him.

Look, I'm just stating a point, I'm not going to bother lobbying for Keith Davis to start because it's not going to happen, but at this point the only difference between Keith Davis and Roy Williams is salary and draft position.

And Davis probably isn't even as good as Pat Watkins.

Believe me, I realize Carolina isn't the Patriots, but Roy's been torched by plenty of crappy offenses in the past.

There were plays tonight that would have been scores that the "Killah" made plays on. Most will dig their heads in the sand and never admit it and hell who knows, maybe it's just a one-game thing, because Davis has never exactly been the best safety in the league.

Won't show up in the stat sheet, but he did a superb job in coverage.

However, if I'm basing the defensive lineup on tonight's game, then Ken Hamlin and Keith Davis are your starting safeties heading into the playoffs.

Davis' play was about par, considering the competition. He made a couple of plays on pass defense, but his run D was generally poor. Luckily, it wasn't needed.

What the hell are you talking about? Follow along - the point is, we all know Reeves is just average, if I post that Reeves had an average game, what discussion could that possibly bring about? Is someone going to jump in and defend him? Is Reeves' father going to make a Pittdawg-like screenname and come tell us how wrong we are? This is a discussion board, in case you haven't noticed.

With Roy, there are still some people who don't realize he's not good at playing safety, therefore, we can have a discussion about his replacement's performance.

yea, let's put all the focus on roy being out as our key and not moore in his 2nd start and wr's who we can only name 1 of and a rb tandem that wouldn't scare a solid high school team.
