Fading into Blue WP...

Hey Juke, you know I luv your work. And these are nice as well. But I actually like the other one better. Don't know why, just did.
The Coltrane one was nice, too, but I thought the way his name was put on there through off the flow of the image. You had that fade thing going and then you have Coltrane's name crystal clear. It stands out much more than I thought it should. I don't know the techniques behind making it more of a faded background look, but I think it would help the flow of the image.
I don't know if I'm explaining what I mean very clear as I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, I know just enough about photoshop to be dangerous. And then the image would require surgery after I was done with it. That being said, I hope you take my comments with the spirit in which it was intended.

Well....the Coltrane graphic was done after a friend saw the other one and asked me to do a Coltrane for a tribute show...so I stamped the Coltrane name on the graphic in LOUD clear terms.
Hey....I never mind people expressing their viewpoints...it means they at least looked...
The other one "flows" better because as you astutely picked up, the second one was made after the first...
Personally, I like the look of the sax player better in the first...

Ooooh I get it. Well, like I said, you're stuff is always awesome.
I always troll the Image zone. You guys are so talented here and I really enjoy looking at you guys stuff.

I'll just say maybe. Only thing I do w/graphics is primarily for screen captures that I do at work. Before this last job I was using Photoshop primarily, but this new gig only uses PSP and I'm still learning it.Juke99 said:it's cool that your eyes picked up on the type thing...
