people were talking about is dallas still americas team and then people started mentioning how after a certain team won they saw more fans. I hate that, i know kids in my school who will buy a jersey for a team right after they win the superbowl... and i know more about the team. for example when the rams were winning.. this kid couldnt name 5 players. i hate fairwheather fans.

I have a nephew who was a 49ers fan, then Titans, then Rams etc.....

I don't really acknowledge him ;)

yep, in the 90s it was nuts. dallas fans everywher but the best part about being dallas fans is, people either hate or love them. and when were winning the haters come out of the woodwork.

Who cares? They aren't really football fans. It's more of a fashion statement for them than truely caring about the team.

I'm sure Jerry Jones doesn't mind, heh.

Actually, isnt a fairweather fan a fan who only cheers for their team when they are good, and a t-shirt fan a fan who switches teams?

i've never heard of the term t-shirt fan (they're probably better known as bandwagon fans). but you're right. fairweather fans only cheer when their team is doing good, which is just a little better than being a bandwagon fan. if you're gonna have a team, then don't hide just because they're doing bad.

Tishirt fan it is! I like that term as much as any describing those folks that are in it for fashion. They are the reason sales jump for teams that win the big one. The NFL cares about these folks.

But I saw every single game in 91 except the Commanders game we won. I'd never by another team's jersey under any circumstance.

I AM NO T-SHIRT FAN! I'm a Cowboy's fan.

Kinda like you RedStinks have been doing for the, what...last 7 or 8 years? Hiding from the big, bad CowboyZone forum? That kind of hiding?

Now all of a sudden, you're team sweeps the Boyz, and now everyone of you Stink fans are coming over here to infest this forum? How much did you pay for your NEW T-shirt?

You're lucky Gibbs is outside chasing cats!!

my gramps was the biggest cubs fan you ever saw...god, the look on his face when they made the playoffs like 5-10y years ago(not a big baseball fan...just reminded me of him)_...just makes you realize if you stick with your team, eventually they'll have some sucess, and it will be 1000x more enjoyable.

i beacme a cowboys fan in '94 and i took so much **** from people in rice or young jerseys at school(almost got physical a few times), but i stuck with the first team i ever rooted for...and after SB XXX, i realized what was so great about being a fan.....after feeling like you've put in almost as work as the team...you finally get to be world champions, pure euphoria....after watching every second of every loss, and keeping the faith, you can say your the best...

thats why i could never understand bandwagon fans...it seems like it would take all the fun out of it, unless you just wanna wear a jersey to make a fasion statement.

Unless you are a Knicks fan. In which case, hiding at this point iin time is perfectly reasonable.

I figure if you have only missed a handful of games in the last 5 or 6 years, especially in the Campo era, that pretty much sums it up.

When Eric Bjornson was a player with great hands and potential for you, you know you're a true fan.
