I could ALMOST forgive him for the Detroit one, but I'm still trying to figure out what he was doing on the Eagles one.

Go to about 3:16

The gunner acted like he was going to try to go around Tolbert to the middle of the field. Tolbert reacted like the Eagles wanted and the receiver broke to the outside.

Yes thats what I thought also but why in the world does he have his back to him? On special teams if you have the gunner you just supposed to mirror him.

I haven't seen anyone talking about it, but Dallas has been caught by 2 fake punts in recent games--I saw the one against Philly coming a mile away. There have been a few big penalties on punt defense as well.

Going to need them to tighten this up.
They had the fake pro on too and still got burned.

Problem is Cowboys are playing a DE and WR as gunners. Teams see that and it’s a big disadvantage. Shows how much of a bust Nashon Wright and Mukuama were

I guess he was trying to stay between him and the returner and planned to pivot back around as they ran downfield. It's hard to run backward when you think the other guy is trying to sprint past you.

Losing Goodwin hurt. I know we've been trying to replace him for years because he offers nothing at his position, but he's top-notch on special teams. Joseph also was really good on special teams when he wasn't doing something boneheaded.

Yes could be - I stopped it at 3:22 and Wright on the other side is making a B-line to the punter "leaving" his guy - they both seem to be, but man that really opens you up for what we saw...

They obviously were setting up for a return by imo you can't leave the gunners that early.

Mac needs to have a heart to heart talk with bones.
Bottom line the buck stops at the HC.
